One other small thing: it's G.K.R, not G.K.A. I know what it means, but it might put others off. :S

Err, Crossroads, there isn't a big empty gap in the middle of my empire. That X was, in fact, the HEART of my colonial empire (Portugal).

Also, I have a question to the mods.

Interdiction defeating: I get that you need more points into interdiction defeating than the other guy has into interdiction, but I don't see anyone spend points on that. I see generic "+speed" or "+engines". Could we be more specific here? Defeating interdiction is not the same as having faster engines. Does +engines mean interdiction defeating engines, does it mean +ftl speed? does it mean +sublight? I'd like a little clarification here.

How destructive do you think a ship's backwash is to a docking port which you left without warning? A docking port probably in the middle of after-dock servicing?

Slight note, the ship never docked, so it's not going to be in a vulnerable post-docking state. And it's a transport with really weak engines, not warship-grade main drives, so it wouldn't be heinous. But otherwise, yes. These aren't wise, sensible people, for the most part, and those that are are outnumbered.

Even a transport's engine wash would be many times hotter and more powerful than a modern-day rocket engine's effects.

Well, don't forget that this is supposed to be 3-D too so you can have overlap so long as your z-axis shift is reasonable enough, although that would probably make the 2-D map significantly more confusing.

I have a question relating to bonuses. If we have a 50 point ship with +5 EW against a 10 point ship with +20 EW, which one's electronic warfare prevails over the other? I'm asking because without the EW bonus one would expect the larger ship to be better at it. So the question is, "are bonuses all or is the ship size considered?"

I'm also wondering about points spent in proportion to ship size. For example a 5 point +10 EW ship would basically be an armoured sensors array with engines and a couple of guns attached. While a 50 point +10 EW ship would be a warship with large sensors bolted on.
