It doesn't need to involve Cadia to be a disaster. All Daemon Worlds are bad news, a foot hold of Chaos in real space. Every world around it is permenently threatened, cultist can retreat to it and gain resources there, and it has the potential to project evil across the galaxy.

Well, given the bureaucratic nature of the Imperium, I just figured they would have a specific institution, sort of like a commissariat, that would oversee their operations with an eye toward cleansing corruption from the ranks.

Well YB, there are the inhibitors that dampen the blanking effect, and she can be a perfectly emotionless psi-hunter otherwise.

Too bad; Blanks are canonically proven to dampen Psi emenations. I didn't intend for my Daemon to be taken out with a single Vortex Grenade either.

A Blank disrupts the warp about them, that doesn't mean they can bathe in Pink Fire and not get burned. It gives your character an edge and weakens the psi powers that might be used against her.
