The above was complete and utter BS. I do not have a murder to my name. Please do not ban me.
My friend and I had a great night in the full and complete tradition of a zombie movie yesterday. I was down to 1200 blood and had covered several kilometers after surviving back to back disasters by blind stupid luck when I stumbled across a helicopter wreck and decided to chance it, despite frequent lapses into unconsiousness. With zeds all around, I had only seconds to go through the loot, which was a mountain of medical supplies. I grabbed two blood bags and a Bizon lying nearby and got the hell out of there. I logged until my friend could get to me, and transfusion returned the blessed wonder of color to my vision. Due to a major navigation fail, he raided a different town than I did, but we both maxed our inventories with food, drink and ammo and got out unscathed. He even found matches, so we were all set to find the most isolated patch of woods possible and camp out indefinitely. Then we found some little dinky shack in the middle of nowhere and decided to investigate and OH DEAR GOD WHY ARE THERE LIKE EIGHT ZOMBIES HIDING INSIDE HELP HELP MEEEEEE!" I got off ok on blood loss but was left with a broken leg. F*ckf*ckityexpletiveexpletivef*ck. There had been morhpine in that chopper too. I spent the rest of the night crawling a good five kilometers bascially back to where we started so that we can try a hospital run tonight. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Hop on TS and I can give you morphine and blood. Also, would love to know your server so I can raid that chopper.

Alas the chopper is gone. I saw it on Sunday, and we tried to returned to it after I broke my leg a few hours later, but the secret government sanitation team had already wiped the area clean.

I am getting to the point where I am just going to shoot other players on sight, no warning. Crawled from the east end of Balota airstrip to the encampment near the beach. Was clearing the third deer stand when I heard a crack... Then on the second crack, I was down. Fuck's sake, is there no decency?

Dude, you are playing a game that was designed from the ground up to feature predatory PvP.

What server(s) do you guys play on. Would love to team up with people.

I'm getting a bit frustrated with this game now. I really really don't mind the predatory nature of the PvP side of the game (its actullay rather fun) but could someone please explain to me the point of killing freshly spawned players whose most valuable item is a bandage<----- that is just being an asshole.

For some people, being an asshole is its own reward.

Just killed a guy 'before he could kill me' in a barn inland

Got the message 'I WAS TYPING YOU DOUCHE'

Feel bad, but on the other hand I have matches now to cook that pig I slaughtered earlier!

This is pre-WWII. You can sort of tell from the sketch style, from thee way it refers to Japan (Japan in the 1950s was still rebuilding from WWII), the spelling of Tokyo, lots of details. Nothing obvious... except that the upper right hand corner of the page reads "November 1931." --- Simon_Jester

Spawned near it. On a previous visit, it was jackpot, apart from lacking bandages, which I needed... And then got attacked. Bled out.

Travelled from the barn I spent the night in near Topolka Dam northeast to another barn at Msta. Spent the morning barn-hopping; agro'd at Staroye and led the bastard into the forest so I could dispatch him without witness. Followed the highway northwest from there, hit two more barns. First one I had a customer wander in moaning, so I dispatched him. Six more came to investigate. Killed them all. Winchester is a brilliant weapon; surprisingly quiet. I have a bit more than thirty rounds for it at the moment, as well as a Makarov with six mags. Some food, some water... And Novy Sobor just to the north.

I really need a bigger pack.

The SB.com group is steadily growing. Just PM me guys. Chris O'Farrell setup a Teamspeak server and we are managing successful raids against Stary and NW Airfield. Half the crew even has Coyote Backpacks now.

Got carried away by life after playing survivor for 9 days straight (on my 3rd attempt on the game) - three days without connecting - starved in limbo...

I hope the update made it harder - the only thing causing you problems is the lag... :D
A minute's thought suggests that the very idea of this is stupid. A more detailed examination raises the possibility that it might be an answer to the question "how could the Germans win the war after the US gets involved?" - Captain Seafort, in a thread proposing a 1942 'D-Day' in Quiberon Bay

Had an awesome run tonight. Two newer players joined the crew and we looted some mid level locations to get them all kitted out. Everyone has Alice packs or better, except poor Snowcrasher.

M4s, AKMs, and AK74s for the entire crew right now.

Oh, and we found three freaking antibiotics in one session.

Rarest medecine in the game, and we have three. Found one in Bereznio on one server. After it crashed and we reloaded, we found two more in the hospital on the next server.

I feel like auctioning it off or something.

I found a tent earlier and I was stoked about that

Unfortunately I can't get back on to that server at the moment... Feel the need to move it somewhere more secure.

Sitting on about 5000 units of blood; raided a supermarket under cover of darkness. Crawled out silently, halfway across a small field and realised I was boxed in. If it didn't take so long to stand up I would have gotten away clean. Down one AKM mag, too.

Have hit an airfield control tower for the first time. Nothing I haven't seen before, unfortunately.

I've yet to see a vehicle, come to that.

The good news is, in the most recent patching zombies are less likely to cripple you with leg injuries! The bad news is, this fix probably doesn't apply to any other potential cause of broken legs in DayZ...

Wow, talk about an incredible day. We found a Motorcycle. And then we found TWO crashed helicopters on the same server. And....
