But then in the first five minutes the people would lock themselves in and be saved make an ultimately logical and realist but boring movie.

yep breaks the basic plot premise of all monster movies you must have one amazingly stupid mistake, also we havent killed of a "significant" character yet, almost but not quite"

a cult classic for the zombie movie lover is something like "last man on earth" and later "omega man" they have the lead role be a biologest but it's still pritty kick ass cause they have vincent price and Charlton heston respectively

but yeah we could hold out here for a while and also this research angle is a good idea if we found some form of antibiotic or something that perhaps helped we would be golden, then if all else fails i got a boat

how far can the helicopter fly without gas? hehe SAIL BOATS ROCK

Meh sharks I can handle its the larger whales that scare me but there is plenty of food in the sea and recognition of humans as such is probably lower.

Just thought I'd remind everyone I have quite a few supplies in my car which is parked outside the service entrance. 7mm rifles and 1911 clones (para-ordinance LDA's - they have double stacked high capacity magazines), lots of snacks, ammo, and a enough supplies for several tasty sandwiches. I'm going to my gramma's but I'll be back tomorrow.

Remember, I'm cut off, so I'm going to have to be told this. This will also depend on where exactly the Greyahound station in this podunk town is placed, for which we will have to wait for creech's ruling.

Since everyone else is going to be a slightly better version of themselves, I'll have made E-5 for the purposes of this. Which means I'll have spent some time calling, and/or text messaging my people back home individually, since my unit as a unit would promptly cease to exist in this situation. However, at best, this means a dozen more survivors in the Maryland/Virginia area, which has negligible effect upon us in Colorado.

My peeps by this point have no doubt taken over and begun fortifying a defensible BJs that I have selected as the primary fortification in the event this really happens. Since they have clues, they will have things like quarantines, and roll-calls to make sure that preggo zombie chick problem doesn't happen. Figure two-three dozen people with long-term food availabilty, not an obvious target, who should be able to hold out until it doesn't matter one way or another.
