How shall this be done? I'm assuming it's done via some RPG program, rather than on the forum.

Annoying that, as I'm in a different time zone to most of you. Shame, as for some strange reason I have an urge to play a barbarian...

Damn time zones. May I offer the services of a druid? Potentially of the dwarven kind?

Damn... the things I miss and that Nitram forgets to tell me about.

Wizards Wizards everywhere.....

I think you guys need a Tank to keep you from dying. I'll get back to you whether it's a plain ol' fighter or a ranger.

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Nitram and Tevar, the two mages, are the only real fighter-types in the entire party. *muffles laughter*

*snarks* I can see this is going to be a /most/ entertaining party, even if we manage to avoid killing each other.

Actually, we usually do indeed do this on the forum. Tends to make the battle sequences drag, but we'll live. :P

Well. At least it's not starting at 1st level. One can get a horse off the bat. Even if horses aren't going to be taken into the underdark...

I would think a horse would be a snack in the underdark...wouldna it? that...and definitly more of a hassle than a benefit.

Ever try to get a horse across a 50ft gap in the floor?

Heh. I never said one would take such an animal there. More a gripe about the lack of funds at 1st level.

Though my gripes about certain aspects of D&D's economic system are quite intricate. :P

Who's discussing the Underdark? :P Dambrath is a surface nation ruled by the Crinti half-drow. It nominally owes fealty to the drow of T'lindhet in the nearby Underdark, but those bonds slip more and more with every passing year. I wouldn't recommend trying to clean out T'lindhet, but the city is small enough that you probably don't have to worry about any further conquest attempts coming from it. This ain't exactly the great drow cities of the North we're talking about, here.

Bah. I think drow, I think underdark.

See! It's on the surface. Horses are useful for that.

*grins* Yeah they sure are... just don't get stuck under one...or have it stolen... or grow too dependent upon having the horse.
After all...animals come and go........

Heh. I'd have to go find the monsters-as-mounts rules.

That, and I'd only end up turning my character into a Nazgul. :P

I'm already considering a big, nast mace and a flaming sword.
