You are lucky- Unlike Communist Russia, you have someone to disabuse you of your notions of military parity. And as I've said, the Cornerians can still take out the TSC. And the Cornerians are actually capable of taking out the TSC/Merc fleet you've got in the PRC. There's nearly 2/3rds of the fleet there now.
Over Corneria, you have:
The shattered remnants of 2cnd and 7th fleet, one of which consists mostly of old/obsolete escorts and cruisers, and 1st and 3rd fleets, both of which have lost the balance of their escort squadrons. This is less than half the PRC's fleet strength at it's best, and it is now heavily understrength, particularly in regards to escorts.
Also in the region are your own Affront forces- significant, certainly.
Opposing is the Commonwealth Assault Fleet and elements of each Commonwealth Provincal Fleet, totalling to about 60% of the Commonwealth's capital ship strength and about 70% of it's escort strength. Present also is a large portion of the Corsair fleet, at least enough to balance out the Affron presence.
The PRC is outnumbered in it's home systems.
Meanwhile, over half the PRC fleet is over Desjardins, with all the PRC's Harrington-class command ships. it's superlaser blast already used up, and it's facing 40% of the Commonwealth wall of battle and 30 percent of it's escort wall, plus large task forces from the UTR and the Patriarchy.
The PRC vessels are surrounded and held in place by interdictors.
The Commonwealth stands in a very nice position, and the Cornerians are in no condition to threaten the TSC.
