I throw my three remaining daggers at the goblins, then draw my whip and assume a defensive stance, sword held in front of me...

Kenji slays a goblin as Alastar finishes off another.

[5+2=7, miss]

Johan flings another dagger at a goblin, but the blade goes wide and lands in the wood walls.

The two remaining goblins split up, one concentrating on the monk while the other takes a stab at Johan.

[vs. Kenji, 18+1 = hit, halfspear 5-1=4]

The monster catches Kenji in the leg with its crude spear, drawing blood.

[vs. Johan, 7+1 = miss]

The other makes a wild thrust and manages to destroy a perfectly good chair.

[Round 3]

[16+5=21, hit, claymore 6+4=10]

Duncan, enraged at the loss of his chair, takes another swing at the offending creature, completely annihilating it.

Johan hurls another dagger but misses. The goblin, wounded by Kenji's attack, decided to quit while its ahead and flees.

[Kenji attack of oppurtunity, 5+1=miss]

The creature runs screaming off into the night with some of its brethren that had remained outside. A lizardman has appeared out of nowhere and can try to fell one or let them flee...

After making sure that none of the goblins lying on the floor are still alive, I recover my daggers, clean them off, and put them away. Then I turn to Duncan. "Should we take the corpses out and burn them?"

Ryu keeps 3 of the silver pieces and turns the rest over to the party, taking 6 half-spears out to his pony and tying them to his gear for selling later.
