Bait stopped hauling the zombie for a second aveter he heard the message, the zombie was more than half way in and he would have soon asked one of guards to shoot the neck repeatedly in hopes of severing the head. The brain had allready been damaged and the zombie was probably dead so he dident see what the problem was. However this was allways how someone died in zombie movies they were over confident about a zombie or something and it lead to their death. acting quickly he pulled out his macheti and cut the line out to the harpoon, "sorry guys" he said "fishing trip is cancled" and with that he ran back inside chainmail clanking all the way.

Roger Dr. Allen. We have to get the people out of here and the fireturcks should be getting there now.
Fisher kicked out a ladder and spoke into the PA system.
"SANDS, GET OUT NOW WITH THOSE CIVILIANS."
Sands and the three civilians came running out and grabbed onto the ladder and held on for dear life.
The chopper turned and headed straight for the lab. It soon reached there and hovered over the service entrance and Sands and the civilians got off the ladder.
The helicopter rose and landed on the roof.

Ben Ran from the lab, down to the service entrance in his biohazzard suit. He opened the door quickly, waited for them to get in, and shut it, locked, behind them
"Hi, I am Dr. Benjamin Allen, biologist. I will be examining you. If you would please be so kind as to let me know if any of you have been in contact with zombies, and strip down to your underpants so I can clear you of visible symptoms"
They did so, but one didnt check out. He had a scratch mark on his shoulder that was starting to fester
"Ok... all of you but this one, step into the decon shower"
He pulled the lever and they were showered decontaminants
The one who was infected, was sprayed with decontaminants seperatley, his clothes burned, and escurted to a quarantine room
"If the deconamination doesnt work... Well, we will cross that bridge when we come to it"

Fisher grabbed his radio.
"EVERYONE OUTSIDE, FULL BIO-WARFARE PROCEDURES NOW!"
Fisher turned back towards the good doctor. "Better safe than sorry."
Radio DJ: Ok citizens dead and alive who are listening i am having some weird problems with my Zombies outside of my booth here. First they like fell down and now they are all twitching like crazy. Any news for me call the station. Either way in appropriate fashion here is REM's End of the world (Song plays all the way through but the DJ never comes back no more music is playing Radio is dead)
Bait ran as fast as he could while wearing the heavy chain mail and skidded to a stop in Ben’s office once more, he quickly stripped off the armor and dry suit before jumping back into the biohazard suit. He then ran for the lab, when he got there he saw that it was empty and headed instead for the command center on his way he bumped into Ben who filled him in on the situation and told him there was one patent who could use some medical attention. “All right zip me up” Bait said before grabbing a tray of medical supplies, “with any luck this will be easier than operating on a shark.”
Once inside the room with the infected man who’s name was John. He explained that he had not worked on humans much but internally most mammals were fairly similar. But he had stitched up some of his crew members before.
First bait injected a few local anesthetics before attempting to remove some of the infected tissue with a scalpel. The pieces that were removed were put into a specimen jar he had brought with him, and Bait then began cleaning the wound with many chemicals that were much harsher than he would normally use. he considered trying lye but there was no reason to torture the poor man. Perhaps if his condition deteriorated further, Bait then asked if the man had any known allergies. He did not so Bait injected a little penicillin into the surrounding tissue hoping it might at least stop the infection from spreading “hell it worked in Day of the Dead” he thought to himself.
Finally once the wound looked much better (relatively speaking) he began to stitch it back together, using 20 about stitches in all.
When he finally left the room and was filled in on what had been happening with the zombies, and the twitching he imediately began throwing yet another one of his famous temper tantrums. Like his father before him Bait had a gift for yelling and screaming when he beilieved that god was ear screwing him. "God damn, Every time, every single time. ARGH screw me in the ear with a barbed wire dildo a little more why dont ya jesus. Are you really that much of a sick bastard, WELL ARE YOU? God damn it I want to go back to the simple times, when all I had to worry about were sharks making unwanted sexual advances on me" He continued to babble in half sentences for a few more seconds while foaming at the mouth and jumping up and down. Finally he calmed down enough to say "Dont you see what this could mean? The zombies might not need their brains anymore, the plague could have moved to the spinal chord if it has we are all EAR SCREWED, we would need to compleatly demolish the spine inorder to kill them. DAMN YOU MOTHER NATURE FOR YOUR INGENIOUS DESIGNS"

About an hour later, working through the built in microscope and gloves of the containment room, Ben looked at the new form of Carina. Whether this was the final form o this metamorphing organizim, he didnt know. But it iwas now, for lack of a better term, optimized for controlling the PNS though the spine rather than the brain. SHooting them in the ead wuld no longer work
"Ok, shooting them in the head will no longer work. Unless you completely destroy the spine, they will keep coming at you, and remember, physical contact will mean undeath to you"

"Ok, carina mutated, metamorphosed, or... whatever the fuck this type of unclassified organism does... now it no longer needs the brain to maintain control over the Peripheral Nervous System. Now all it needs is the spine. And no, they cant use vehicles and weapons. WHich means, in order to take it out, we need to destroy the spine, completely. And even that may not work because every nerve can be infected... crawly feet etc. Maybe by destroying every nerve and most of the tissue...maybe a tesla coil or something"

"There is no evidence of them being able to use wepons or vehicals yet, however head shots dont work anymore. you need to compleatly demolish the spine possibly more. If this trend continues i fear they may compleatly invade the perifferal nervous system, meaning basicly every nerve could carry the disease so we might end up with crawling hands and such. If it does come to squishy dissociated zombies the only hope we have is to either destroy every nerve, or burn them to almost nothingness."

All that aside the islands might not be safe now because we dont know what else can carry this disease, like possibly bats or Marine mammels or something like that. So far it is limited to mammels from our tests, un-fortunately we havent tested it on birds yet. It does seem to actually need some sort of endothermic animal to survive.

"Amphibians are resistant, but small organisms like this, with their rapid reproductive rates can evolve very fast. I wouldnt rule out mutations to infect other organisms. "

(Major Event for those of you in sight of twitching Zombies)
*The zombies that have falling have been twitching for sometime now. You now know that Carina wont need a head to function anymore but now you see the true reason. The bodies of the fallen start to spasm violently and then in a awesome manner they explode. BLood and human flesh are send fly to reveal a blood red creature that had emerged from the bodies. it walks on all fours and wears what little flesh from the original host on its bodies. It doesn't seem to have a visable head either.*

Yeah basicly, i'd be willing to help lead a team to raid like a home depot or something for usable materials, it could be dangerous but if we were able to get iron fences or something we might beabe to build even better defences. We need to find someone with welding experience too.
Alright. Dr. Allen, How many acces point are there to the top two floors? I was thinking of calling in for some steel plates from the base so we could turn the top two floors into a safe zone. We put the civilians in there and make it so the only way to get in would be take the stairs to the floor below that and then would have to take a different route to the safe zone. It would make it more easily defensible.
