Well, let's compare it this way.

FFAOTT has 74 individual map files (everything from the world-minimaps to individual shops) and one is for the intro.

FFTFM, at present, has 191 individual map files with 2 for the intro, 1 for a black-background dialogue scene, 2 are for special event scenes, and 6 you'll only see once as part of larger scenes.

FFAOTT has sixty-three monsters (and not all of them are used, I believe); FFTFM currently has 100.

FFAOTT has 99 different monster parties. FFTFM currently has 148 (note that parties include boss encounters).

FFAOTT has six boss encounters. FFTFM has twenty-five boss encounters.

And that's just as it is right now. The game is about 80-85% complete; I only need to add a sidequest, the final two parts of the game plus relevant scenes, and obviously the ending.

I know that's not the SDN area in my FFTFM build...

That waterfall looks kinda screwy though, since it doesn't follow the channel.

I like the RPG2k3 build Steve. Also, I agree with Phong. The waterfall should be Northeast of SDN, with the river running right by it, unless you want to make it obvious that SDN has a port or canal or something.

No, that's not it - since IIRC, the waterfall is in the current build as well. It's that it takes up the whole tile.

I have good news, for FFTFM is approaching feature-complete status. Afterwards, the playtesters will be hunting down obscure bugs, cleaning up spelling and grammar and perhaps suggesting small things here and there to improve the game.

But as usual, the warning is that it's done when it's done, so don't get your hopes up that it'll be out Real Soon Now(tm).
