Well, I got my guy started, going in a much different direction with him, I'll probly post him here tomarrow with a general (ex-soldier) background, but nothing indepth into his history or personality to make him easily fit into the game a little bit later.

I'll be handling the die rolling. Not that I don't trust everyone but, well... I don't trust everyone :D

As for your character Anarchistbunny, sounds good, look forward to seeing it.

At the risk of interfering with player decisions, the real question at this point is whether he can avoid becoming swiss cheese. I sense that you're taking something of a conventional RPG mentality here, and that just won't get you too far in Tensided. You can't use a silver tongue to get cops pounding on the door of a criminal they have been tasked to arrest to go have some donuts instead and be relieved of their jobs when they get back to headquarters, and you can't expect to win a firefight with cops using only a glock 18 and a mattress as cover. I don't normally give overt advice to players during a game on what they should do, but you've got several different ways of escaping that I can think of, and making a stand should be the last thing on your mind. Don't mean to bust your chops, just trying to steer you in the right direction.

Oh dont worry, you have made it rather clear that I cant rely on being a death machine in this(hell I designed him so that he isnt) but why not try to talk them down while looking for an escape route? :P Sympathy for my plight may make them a little less apt to kill me, should they catch me, so...

And I am searching for that escape route. Back doors they didnt notice, ventilation shafts, windows. etc.

Small update on the rules. No changes rules-wise (of course, since we've already started), just started a showcase of contemporary (by 2030 standards) weapons section.

Heh, yeah, but then Dirk's not a very good guy. Do you get the feeling he's drawn a bead on a cop more than once?

Then again, Stavis is that hobo after a ham sandwich. Why do you think he's only got $300 worth of weapons, a stolen trenchcoat, and 'ATMs' listed as his main source of income? :P

Um...when the cops are knocking on your door with a warrant for your arrest, you do not exactly have a good position to reason with them. They are not there to discuss the validity of the charges, they do not want to debate if they should bring you in or not. The only options you have are to kill them, run, or to give yourself up.

And so are you. Difference is that they've got ballistic armor and bigger guns. ;)

Point...

Just wait.. Soon, I will be able to rape their MINDS... then my current weakness as a support character will be outshined by my ability to control their very thoughts... Assuming of course I survive this encounter.

Aaaah, Stavis. I hope he makes it out of this mess allright. Nice touch with the quarters and the buffalo wings. :D

Lol! I was kind of hoping you'd fail the roll, catch your foot on the ledge of the bar and go headfirst into the drinks, but alas... :)

Well, they're not too competent in general, I just like to start campaigns with a bang :D

EDIT: And a guy who often carries a Browning Automatic Rifle openly, wears camo, and drives a 1968 Dodge Charger is hard to miss :D

That's pretty much what happened the first time. Fate owed me one, I suppose. I think I covered my ass with my words. Even if I failed, it would have been elegantly disasterous.

And here I was trying to play a computer RPG with this (or, trying to out think the programmer - in this case, the GM. I was thinking there's a good reason why the cops were after all of us (yes, despite the obvious guess of most of us are wanted criminals). Alas, they're just slobs doing their jobs.

With all of these truly malevolent characters around me, I think playing a somewhat naive person might inject some fun into it. (Blaine isn't naive by today's standards, but certainly by the game's timeline he is.)

Actually I don't yet have a firm idea of what the story will be about. I'm still observing the dynamics of the group before deciding. So don't rule anything out yet.
