Ok I will make a call to the base. We need to weld off one of the staircases and the elevators should only go upto the floor below. We can set up beds in there and use it as our sleeping quaters.

Ben walked over and pressed in his identification number and slid his security card to log on to the terminal. Then he got on the intercomm again

Attention, any soldiers who are outside have 15 seconds to get inside before I lock down this compound

He looked at the security cams and gave them 15 seconds. They all got in, no "followers"

Then he unched in a few commands and sealed off the outside of the facility completely. The outside doors, everything. The fourth floor windows were shatterproof, wonderful invincible lexan.

"I have a sneaky suspicion those things can climb.. in every zombie movie I have seen things like that can climb"

It came in handy needing a secure fascility, and a paranoid director such as yourself.

"We need twenty steel plates, a welder and any supplies you can give us. And you should evacuate the base."

"We already have begun evacuations. And the plates will be their in an hour. And we also sent enough food, water, supplies for sixty people for thirty days. As well as weapons and ammo for that many people. Once we leave you are on your own. So if you need any supplies give us a call in the next four hours."

I have to say after seeing all of this we have some serious problems with how we do battle, our most effective weapons are going to change. We will need mostly incendiary and explosive weapons, we have a stockpile of chemicals here at the lab but those will eventually run out so we need to keep the option of using the helicopters to run raiding missions on surrounding towns, and even university chemistry labs. We might need fuel for generators or helicoptors, supplys for cutting and welding torches, raw materials for building fortifications, but we could turn this place into a castle, and a damn good one at that.

Hollowpoins... could probably filled with some kind of enurotixin, I cn collect TTX from my California newts... or Hydrogen peroxide, a diluted form of which is part of my Decon mix. Pure stuff... well...."

As he said this three helicopters could be heard setting down on the roof and lifting off again.

"Johnson, report." Fisher said into his radio.

"They dropped off a shit load of food and water, as well as plenty of ordinance. I say enough to equip two full platoons."

"Secure the supplies and guns. And clear the roof, we will be have a whole lot of flights in and out."

Fisher turned to Dr. Allen. "Is there anyway you could certify that the civilains in decon are clean so we can evac them out?"

"sure" bait said still in his hazmat suit, "but i'm not sure about John's shoulder, he may need to stay in isolation"

Bait then went down to the Quarnteen section and examined everyone and took blood samples, on visual inspection everyone looked healthy even john's shoulder was pink and warm to the touch which was a very good sign.

I want to Re-state that I do have that ship available if we can make it there. Probably a last resort but it is a sail boat so we would not have to worry about fuel, and current data suggest that the sea is still safe. This could just be a pipe dream but it might work, I know of many islands in the south pacific where there are absolutly no people, and I have sailed to them before.

The chopper could be heard setting down on the roof and the 20 steel plates were being offloaded as fast as possible. Johnson escorted five childern and five adults, to protect the childern, to the chopper. They climbed aboard and the chopper lifted off. Johnson and his men brought the steel plates inside as quick as they could.

After Ben came back with a shotload of copper wire and various clamps, he ran the blood tests

Everyone was clear, shark Bait had even halted the infection in John

5. Supplies, as much as you can give.  And water.  As much bottled water as you've got.
6. Plenty of hollowpoint ammunition.
7. Any extra genarators.

Fisher left the room and returned to talk with Dr. Allen.

"I sent the military base a list of supplies. However, they are leaving. If we decide to stay, thats it. We are staying. After they bug out, we are on our own. However they have agreed to give us two helicopters, crews, and spare parts. Here is the list I sent them.

1. Shotguns, lots of them, with explosive rounds.
2. A couple of M-2s.
3. As much gas and fuel as they can give. As well as some fuel bladders.
4. Chainlink fences
5. Supplies
6. Plenty of hollowpoint ammunition.
7. Extra genarators.

Can you think of anything else we need?
