Our already strained assets are on the edge right now, but we can detach a few military engineers and technical teams from our Military Clusters.

The Senate is fiercely debating the emperor's military expansion and finace bill, which would provide funding for increased production of weapons, ships and supplies. The Emperor states that the bill is nessicary because

"the whole damnd galaxy is going to explode into war sooner or later, Krytos must be ready to defend itself."

The emperor proposed the bill shortly after a lack of correct information led the KSE and the DE to belive that the Asgard had illegally taken control of the massive Floater Shipyard known as the Womb.

In other news, the Krytosian senate has passed a bill condemning the Monacarns recent abduction of several Asgard policemen.

General news
The production of the first twenty-five Argo-class battleships is nearly complete, with the final ship rolling off the production line in two weeks

Misc. News

The Senate met again today to discuss the emperor's military production act. A second item on the agenda was discussion of lowering trade tariffs for the floaters, due to their decreased economy, and the Asgard, in the hope of developing better relations. The senate voted yes to both tariff proposals, a message should be sent out to both nations within the week.

Decommissioning/rebuilding

Now that the Retooling is complete, Fenari "Standard" bulk frighters are making it out of slips at regular intervals.

The first of our "Super Frighters" should be released from scaffolding soon too.

While the standardized shipping designs will result in several decommissionings as a result of much of our Merchant fleet will soon be obsolete.

The Fleet at Demonheim will be reinforced befor individual unit's are decommissioned.

{Kokand Broadcast News}

The Admiralty announced today that they will be adding former Kokand naval yards to the Naval Expansion construction sites. The news was delivered at a press conference from the Kokand Naval Space Works.

"By Imperial decree we will be adding the naval shipyards of the Kokand Navy to those currently building NAE hulls. This will nearly double the construction rates of the present program as well as allowing several projects to move forward ahead of schedule."

This is a major boon for the unsteady Kokand economy as the military yards have stood empty for some time. The construction will add up to several hundred billion dollars worth of new hulls and are expected to add thousands of jobs.

The Admiralty announced that it will be laying down ten of the new Mercury-class dreadnoughts as well as several battlecruisers and escort ships. Also notable is the increase of small patrol cutters for picket and customs duties.

Admiral Santiago was looking over the final designs for the future Far Point defense. There would only be one enterence into the system, now protected by four, instead of two, Battle-Stations. There were now 12 battle-stations orbiting Far-Point itself, two stationed within the Moons of Mantuga, the Gas-Giant of the system, and two surrounding the multi-named mars-like planet. The first and second fleet were apparently en route carrying with them Admiral Traendly who was the new commander of Far Point defenses, the third fleet was already here with the convoy that was about to leave. And the seventh fleet was coming in from Decoy Duty, when this would be combined with the Monitors after they were refitted the system would be able to take on almost five fleets worth of ships. He was currently filling out the forms for the ITASF to take over convoy protection too the sensor shell, after which the Monacoran Navy would take over. In two hours the out-bound convoy would take him to Earth, where the Prince and the army commanders would chew him up, spit him out, and probably fire him too, oh well he thought, he had done his job well, and had re-organized the navy into a proper fighting force, now if only they could get the training up too cut and the cap-ships on par with the Galactic standard there would be nothing better to do.

Permission is not needed, you are more then welcome to send missionaries to build missions anywhere you want within our nation, wether it be in the Colonies of Mardup, on Far-Point, or in lands belonging to us on blessed Earth. We would request permission, though, to send our diplomatic team to a planet of your choosing, after any abulation you may wish for them to go through, so that we may be able to discuss with you, as you can discuss with us.
