I didn't think much of the game mechanics, but I've only watched it, not played it. My days of buying 'boosters' and hoping for something I actually want are long past.

For those of you who're not keen on the rules, the WotC website gives D20 stats for a load of these things, and most of the rest are probably in D20 Star Wars somewhere. Wonder how it plays using D20 rules? Personally, I'll be using Full Thrust (available as a free download), probably using the starship stats available from Starship Combat News (click the Sci-Fi Crossover links).
"So you want to live on a planet?"
"No. I think I'd find it a bit small and wierd."
"Aren't they dangerous? Don't they get hit by stuff?"

After having spent a considerable amount of money on Mechwarrior Dark Age I wouldn't bother with this. I imagine for anyone that has a game like the old West End Games Star Warriors combat game though that the minis might be a good thing though. :)

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
