Stopping iTunes from booting with your pc is completely different from pressing the tabs button on internet explorer or Firefox...
Then you're clearly using a retarded definition of "common feature". Every single program in existence has a method of making it so that it doesn't load from boot. The fact that you might have to look through a few menus does not make it "not common".

I didn't say common feature. I said and I quote "common amongst people who know how to use it".

Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension?

You can correct me if I'm wrong here Zod, but removing itunes from boot-up is not a feature of the programme itself anyway. You have to do it by going to MSconfig or using a start-up editor to remove the registry entry. This is an advanced windows feature... if you are expecting average joe computer user to know how to do this you are seriously over estimating the skills of the windows user base.

Then why the fuck did you have a problem with my point that it's a common feature in the first place, unless you were just being pedantic?

Yet strangely enough I've never had to use either one in order to make iTunes not boot from start. Perhaps it's not as difficult as you think it is and the people you talk to are just computer illiterate.

Err... i didn't. You assumed I did? my point was that not everyone is computer literate enough to know how to do that.

So where is this mystery option in itunes?

It's been months since I installed iTunes so I don't remember, but I'm fairly positive I didn't have to go through any stupid msconfig or registry editing rigamarole to set it up.

I can assure you it's not there, so you did something non-standard.
