I have been wondering this, since I started playing Halo2 on XBox live. Boggles the mind. Nothing seems worse than hearing some prepubescant kid trying to 'out cuss' or whatnot grown men.
As far as Mass Effect being porn goes... I must have a different copy of the game than this fella', because the only pornorgraphic thing I saw was when shepard bones ashley and you see her naked back side. I will have to investigate this lesbian thing however.

AFAIK it's the same scene except with a female alien instead of whoever you chose.
But remember, you can customise your ethnicity. This makes the laughably lame Days of Our Lives 'sex' scenes even worse, because you could be BLACK and sleep with a WHITE MAN.

Oh God no, stop the presses. Time to take this to a fascist conclusion...... [sarcasm oozeing from my fingers....]

After hearing the offensive and biased attack against Mass Effect on Fox News, I decided to check out some links on Cooper Lawrence, the psychologist who took part in the biased strike on the game. I came across her book on Amazon.com titled ‘The Cult of Perfection: Making Peace with Your Inner Overachiever’. It was interesting to see that the page was full of one-star reviews of her book mostly coming from gamers. Shawn covered the topic HERE yesterday. This is definitely one of the reasons I love the internet. She may think that it’s ok to bash a product she has never used and gamers are now bashing a book they have never read to drop her book rating on Amazon. Currently, there over 40 negative reviews posted. Check out the Amazon link HERE if you’d like to throw your two cents in or to just read some of the funny comments against her. Personally, I would never purchase advice from a psychologist who doesn’t do research on the topics she talks about. If Fox News and other media outlets want a war against gaming, they’ve picked an industry full of hard-core fans who aren’t going to sit back and take it anymore.
Some of the witty comments included:
I am giving Ms. Lawrence a poor review because she makes assumptions that are not based on fact. During her Fox news report, she blatantly lied and completely misinformed the public. This is not acceptable behavior, and how does she expect me to read her book and believe what she has to say? She completely threw her credibility out the window. Mass Effect is a PG-13 game (and even that is pushing it, I’d consider it “PG”) that is “M” rated because the ESRB is harsher than the MPAA. I think she should denounce Rap music rather than things she knows nothing about. And her comment about knowing what young boys think is absolutely laughable at best.
I respect you, Ms. Lawrence, I really do, but please, do some research before you try to convince the public not to support something.
I caught her doing a segment on Fox News. She spent 3 minutes attacking a product she hadn’t used, and actually made assumptions about the quality and use of the product. I suppose when you are so busy trying to overachieve and look perfect, you don’t have time for fact checking. Shame.
Excuse me “Darling”, I guess I don’t have to read your book to bash it the same way you don’t have to play or even research a game you are talking about before you go on Fox News and spout your ignorance as fact. You are a moron and an attention [expletive deleted].
After reading about reporters demonizing a game they've never played, I'm reminded of Bob Dole's hypocrisy in demonizing certain Hollywood movies while praising those starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, a staunch Republican. (The former Republican presidential candidate was fawning over 'True Lies'... until he saw it. Then he said the film was pretty awful.)
Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.
They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)
I love it how Fox News goes out and boldly lies. Again. At least this time, it's about something trivial instead of how inter-ethnic civil war can be a good thing. That woman is a hysteric, and it shows on Camera alright.
Apparently a blue alien's back, and a hand touching a face is too sexually explicit. No doubt sharing a malt chocolate milkshake or holding hands is just right out for deviancy.

Milk bars are dens of sin - a white person might hold the hand or touch the face of a dirty yellow person! It's CUSTOMISABLE ETHNICITIES!

In Japan, sharing a milkshake will be considered an act of intimacy if the straw is shared, making it an indirect kiss.

Author Cooper Lawrence apologizes for Mass Effect lies
Ah, the drama continues. Last week's wrong-tastic Fox News report on Mass Effect garnered some rightful anger from a lot of people, leading to an awkward back and forth between Electronic Arts and the television network. This weekend The New York Times leaped into the fray with a story focusing on self-help author and "psychology specialist" Cooper Lawrence, who went up against games journalist Geoff Keighley during the controversial segment.
After exaggerating the amount of sexual content in Mass Effect and then laughing off Keighley's question of whether or not she had actually played the game, Lawrence found herself surrounded by a pack of frustrated internet-savvy gamers looking for a way to strike back. Their target of choice? The Amazon page for Lawrence's recently released book, The Cult of Perfection. The site was flooded with negative reviews for the book, at one point reaching 412 one-star ratings and 48 two-star ratings of a total 472 user reviews. One reviewer, quoted by the New York Times piece, sums up the attack expertly:
"I know all about this book but have never fully read it. Why? Due to the overwhelming backlash, I have no choice but to agree with the 1 star ratings. The rumors are rampant that this book was poorly written and poorly researched. So without verifying the contents myself - I give it a 1 star. Good thing video games aren't judged in this manner - whew!!!"
In an interview with the New York Times, Lawrence did what Fox News has not and apologized:
"I recognize that I misspoke. I really regret saying that, and now that I've seen the game and seen the sex scenes it's kind of a joke. Before the show I had asked somebody about what they had heard, and they had said it's like pornography. But it's not like pornography. I've seen episodes of Lost that are more sexually explicit."
While it's refreshing that she owned up to her mistake, it seems strange that Lawrence admitted to coming on the show for the debate armed merely with the knowledge of what someone told her just before the show. Sounds like a real expert.
Amazon has since removed any negative reviews that are clearly from anyone who hasn't read the book, but they have not cleared the extensive user-created tags for the book. What kind-hearted words has Lawrence's book been stuck with? Leading the pack are "ignorant," "garbage," "hypocrisy," "hypocrite," and "hack," all with over 1000 votes. The over 800 other tags include "liar," "fraud," and "alien-side-cleavage-is-the-death-of-america." Yes, that last one is clearly the best.

Why would you be surprised. I don't see any problem with it. The guy who shot his mouth off about it had no idea what the Hell he was talking about.

Of course. This contrived controversy is absolutely ridiculous. Report that, why don't you?

What a dick. True Lies was awesome.
I'll bet he had no problem with the violence, but since he's a high-ranking Republican politician, he's probably a closeted gay. Therefore, he was most likely offended by Jamie Lee Curtis' strip-tease.

Fox news is setting up that author to take the fall. They read her retraction on air and reiterated their call for Microsoft, Bioware and EA to send people to provide their side of the story.
For I dipt into the future, far as human eye could see,
Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be;
Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails,
Pilots of the purple twilight dropping down with costly bales;
Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rain'd a ghastly dew
From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue;
