I use it all the time, because the DVD drive in my Xbox is stupid loud, and installing games makes it shut up. Yeah it made Gears run faster for me. So I just install games I know I am going to play. Now if they could just invent some sort of setup that allows you to have more than one disc accessible at a time... some sort of... CD changer...
