I'm appreciating the hard difficulty right now because its actually teaching me to use my head. Instead of hacking and slashing everyone, maybe I should block more and use those dodge moves and I might still have a lot of health left when I need it. I'm replaying 'No More Heroes 1' on bitter since I don't have enough money for the sequel. Individual enemies aren't that much tougher, but in groups, yeah its hard. The first boss seemed a bit tougher and had a lot more health. The second felt exactly the same as he did on sweet difficulty, even easier since I knew how to beat him. But they they don't throw out as much health this time around. I'm actually looking forward to playing the sequel on bitter (after beating it on mild) since a major complaint of the game is how cheap the final bosses are.

I might go back to some old games I haven't touched in a while and play them on their hardest difficulty. Granted, the only one I can think that has those kind of difficulty settings is 'The World Ends With You', which allows you to change the difficulty at anytime, it even requires it for some missions.

*sigh* I shouldn't even be playing games like this in college, but I'm carrying a really light load of work this week.
