Gah... Galeon is better than Epiphany.

Anyway, interesting to see many more people have switched away from IE since the last poll.

Internet Explorer. I hope to get FireFox when I get my own computer fixed.

I also have my own browser but it is just a simple MFC app with the IE activex control.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

Opera.

I'm thinking about jumping on the Firefox bandwagon since I can't go fifteen minutes without hearing someone raving about it. What exactly are the advantages Firefox has over Opera?

Every version of Galeon I have used have always been been built with GTK2 support (They are phasing out GTK1).

No banner ads. Clean, minimalistic GUI.

Nah, I trust my character shields :D

No "trouble" with IE for over 5 years. I've yet to see any of that ad-ware on my PC. Only got the Opaserv virus once from an infected PC which I played games with, besides that the last virus I had was in 1990 or something.

Some sites might not even work right on Sokartawi's computer, since it's probably IE 5.5- not even IE6

I've run both and I really don't see that one has any real advantage over the other. Whatever you're comfortable with is probably the best for you.

On my PC, I use Firefox. Darthdavid got me hooked. After just a few minutes, a little window poped up and said something like "pop up blocked" and the rest is history.

On my dad's, I use Mozilla over IE. A while back IE freaked out and wouldn't load and was just being a pain, so no IE for me.

Safari on the laptop, Firebird on one desktop, Firefox on the other.

Firebird was so good I never bothered upgrading.

I use IE6. It's running rather slow because of spyware. I also hate all the damn popups!

Download firefox. No popups, not affected by spyware, and not affected by the same security holes (last I checked, 1 hole for Firefox which has been fixed already, and 1 million for IE...lol. 4 new IE holes were discovered this morning.)
