I'd rather they didn't live in the island like they owned the damn place. I don't mind having a secret or non-secret door, what I don't want is a continuous stream of parachutes pouring from above 24/7. You know, this isn't a secret island for nothingRogue 9 wrote:So if you'd rather they found their way in faster, build a non-hidden door to the outside so they can find it quicker.Slartibartfast wrote:The game amuses me, but I would have liked that agent attacks had been more like Dungeon Keeper - having squads of agents attack once in a while, not having them swarming over the island looking for a place to sunbathe and annoying the hell out of me 100% of the time.

But it still seems like an ok game
The authors say that in the full game, you won't get as many agents. So no constant things blowing up inside your base while you're trying to plan that goddamned armorywautd wrote:Same hereSlartibartfast wrote:The game amuses me, but I would have liked that agent attacks had been more like Dungeon Keeper - having squads of agents attack once in a while, not having them swarming over the island looking for a place to sunbathe and annoying the hell out of me 100% of the time.

It will all depend on your heat level with all those organizations.

Odd how I never had any saboteurs or anything else. Just basic guys with guns and the superagent.
It's Rogue, not Rouge!

I think the demo is too limited to attract non-DK veterans; and don't even get me started about its 100% linear-boring-shit nature.
Also, even with several firing ranges, heaps of bodies outside the door etc, the level of attacks never really seemed to change.
The help says that bodies in your freezer don't affect morale but never go away; how is this helpful at all? I just moved them round the back of the helipad and let them decompose. And yes, not having traps was stupid, since you can't set 'guard points' to keep your mercenaries outside protecting the valets etc.
I'll play the full version, but only because of the James Bond-DK factor, and not because of the half-assed demo.

I don't get it either. Specially becaue they DO go away... don't undersand why it says otherwise (or how would it be useful at all if it were true other than preventing your Heat level going up during the start at least)Stark wrote:The help says that bodies in your freezer don't affect morale but never go away; how is this helpful at all?
You can build some kind of outer tents that behave like the base (you can build inside of them. But they're not in the demo I checked the info on all NOT IN DEMO items.I just moved them round the back of the helipad and let them decompose. Agreed. Although I just started playing DK2... I'm not sure but it seems to have a greater variety of rooms and objects.I'll play the full version, but only because of the James Bond-DK factor, and not because of the half-assed demo.
