I seem to have taken a tangent. Anyways, on collisions in NFS Porsche. If you hit a truck, the car takes a lot more damage than hitting a car. If you're on the inside of another car in a turn and you drift into him, he will spin out while you usually get through ok. Getting hit on the rear quarter panel spins you out good, getting hit on the door or front fender is usually recoverable. It does have glitches in that computer cars cheat and don't seem to take damage and recover from skids & ramming into walls at least twice as fast as human players.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

It's just a holdover from an earlier era, where crappy AI was understandable. Unfortunately, this excuse disappeared around six years ago, so I don't understand why the trend is still rampant.

IIRC its still pretty accurate, they just changed some limitations around like fuel.

What are you saying, that to be arcade it has to be inaccurate? That's circular logic, isn't it?

"Show me an arcade racing game that doesn't have wonky physics. Oh well that one doesn't count because it doesn't have wonky physics."

EDIT: Cleaned up your mess, mess-boy!

Arcade mode AFAIK only takes of fuel and damage. If thats arcady enough for you, enjoy it. :)
