The gift of Superman is the same in his universe as ours. It's not about his powers, his costume, his persona, it's about the using the gifts he has to help people. We all have gifts too, maybe we can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, but maybe we're good with math, maybe we're charming. We can use our gifts -whatever they are- to help people. We just need to make that choice. And Superman shows us that it's possible.
Okay, IGN reports here http://ds.ign.com/articles/565/565920p1.html that with the model they received, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy w/Rumble, and e-Card Reader all don't work on the DS. Only GameBoy Advance games. And due to lack of the link cable slot you can't play two GBA games multiplayer with two DS's, and you can't connect to the GameCube for games like Four Swords (at least, at this point).
So it's really good for just playing GBA games in single player (which is still fun).
Also, it hints at the possibility Nintendo could release peripherals like a camera which go in the GBA slot...
I was thinking about that. Imagine you could buy a DS 'game', a cartridge with a lot of empty space and maybe some organizational programs on it. Then add on a camera. Bam, you've got an organizer with a camera, calender, and clock, you can save notes, and have an address book, and take pictures. That'd be cool.
Another possibility I thought of would be a cell phone. You attach a little Cell phone attachment to the GBA slot, and can dial using the touchpad and talk with the mic...

I would expect cell phone-related accessories in Japan, but not in the US. While fairly common practice in Japan, such versitile exploitation of the US cellular phone system remains mostly unexplored.
I believe in a sign of Zeta.
