Oh hell yes. It was the only real method of multiplayer we had. His computer could handle the games; my POS could not (that and I lacked a joystick). So we would take turns: one pilot, the other co-pilot.Lord of the Farce wrote:Anybody else ever played TIE Fighter with Pilot/Co-Pilot? Or in other words, while the Pilot flies with the joystick (and fine-tune shooting with the mouse), the Co-Pilot manages all of the instruments (eg. shield facing, energy management, etc)?
Used to play TIE Fighter like that with a friend of my (on his computer), great fun to be had.
We did pretty well for ourselves, too. Although I remember this one mission with the T/A where you escort some freighters, and you start basically motionless with the rest of your flight around you. We did the whole "double agent" thing a lot and struck down the Imperial fighters...all while avoiding the Rebels bent on killing us too!
Ah, good times...

Okey i've been asked, you can get the link from Ma Deuce.
In the EULA of the game, theres a clause that says
Otherwise, you can download the HotU version, then get the neccesary files to make it into a full version of the game.
Or just download it, no one gives a shitter about FS2, least of all Interplay.
