That Stargåte game, on the other hand, sure does look spiffy. I was expecting the usual license crap, but those screenshots left me awestruck.

Oberleutnant, you got the screenshots backwards -- the top one is Starcraft: Ghost and the bottom one is Quake II.

The SC:Ghost models do look a bit better than Q2 models, but yeah, I'll agree that it looks more like Q3 on the worst possible quality settings.

It was intentional, part of the aformentioned "joke" that now, in retrospect, feels silly. In the screenshots, "Ghost" looked like it could easily pass for several year old game, so ...

Actually, that's how you do comparisons. You swap the names around so you can show who it's meant to look like.

This is going to be one of those Blizzard games like Warcraft Adventures that will be worked on for years only to one day just admit that it's tits up. They've only been struggling with it for what? Four, five years? We'll never see a finished project.

It looks nowhere near that. It needs a LOT of work before its ready, I think in fact that most of the E3 reviews have said the same thing...

Annoyingly it apparently takes half a clip of fie from a P-90 to put down ONE Jaffa and the Staff weapon is an instant kill accurate weapon of doom.

On topic, Ghost looks pathethic. Very little change in the screenshots to be frank. I was expecting a whole new slew of shots to proudly show they have come upto the current generation level, but nope....

Looks like Rare isn't alone in the "old game rehash" bullshit. I mean, first Perfect Dark looking like a Counter Strike mod, and now SC: Ghost with graphics that make Quake III Look like HL2 in quality.

I really don't to see anymore duds coming out of E3, it's just too painfull.
