Hmn...to bad I recently uninstalled Moo2.

So its Freespace 2, though including SCP makes it 2005.

Fallout 2 - One of the best games ever. I still use the original CD I got at the time of it's release, and it periodically returns to my hard drive in all it's sprite glory.

Master Of Orion 2 - not on my hard drive right now, but it will certainly return at some time in the future. It always does.

Space Empires IV Gold - not that old, but still has five years under it's belt. Again, it cycles in and out of the HDD, and I always keep the CD within reach.

Theme Hospital, I guess. I've got Fallout 2 somewhere, but I've never installed it.

Dark Forces and Command & Conquer, both of which were released in 1995.

I'm surprised only one other person has MOO2 on their computer. I always keep it on, incase I feel like ruling the entire galaxy.

Oldest? Well, where to begin? Right now, Warlords III: Darklords Rising. The older episodes of the Might & Magic series (the Xeen ones) are going in, so is Age of Wonders. Summoning is always a nice one, and I just recently had X-COM: Apocalypse on.

My rig is five years old, so it can't run the newer games, and frankly, there has been little in the past few years that has even interested me all that much. Always something, but even the newer games I've bought I've gotten for next to nothing from bargain bins.

Since we're on Scorched Earth, I need abit of help making it run, its giving me error:

Code: Select all

C:\DOCUME~1\HOMEUS~1\Desktop\scorched\SCORCH.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
I tried running under compability, still no workie.

Homeworld, bought about a week after it came out back in 1999 (I think). Although I just deleted it from the harddrive about 2 minutes ago. I'd put XWA and FS2 back on in a heart beat, but for some reason, they don't seem to want to run on my laptop, and I couldnt get my joystick working with the latter on the laptop.

Get the windows version of Dosbox, install & start, mount the "scorched" folder as c: drive, and run the game.

To mount a folder as a drive, just type
mount <drive number> <folder>, eg
mount C C:\DOCUME~1\HOMEUS~1\Desktop\scorched

Command & Conquer. I've been missing the GDI disk for about 6 years now, though.
