What are we using for a Deckgun anyway?

Not a great preformance but acceptable and with torps to spare.

Petty Officer M.B. Bucher would love to be onboard. I would say Radio, but that is clearly taken. Maybe CMS custodian...

Nice on the Deck Gun (that was me! (and some others who don't matter)), although I must take mock offense that my photo has "MR. DOD" instead of the proper acronym "MRDOD". It's a common error, though.

Torpedoes are very precious instruments, all the more so when I expect Shep is running this without me Auto-Calcing the intercept plots.

Deck guns are cheap and safe.

Not bad, not bad Shep, but I expected better :)

Wait, isn't that the weapons' officer's job? I just raise the scope and say "Mark!" "Mark!" but meh, if you want me to do it all by myself, fine! :x

I'm going to float an idea here, how many people would be intrested in staring in a joint Shep-Ace convoy assault mission?

You define the situation, the convoy, the weather, the year, the boats. We make it happen :)

This is Silent Hunter, right? You can play online multiplayer?

*Edit* And CPO M.B. Bucher would love to be your Radioman, Ace Pace (I have the exact same job in the Navy as Mr. Bean , except he is one paygrade up. :P )

Yefim is added as helmsman.

There is much suspicion of "Yefim Galkine" on the crew; many suspect he is

1.) Russian
2.) Communist

If he proves to be either of those, we shall take care of him...

Sephirus is now Torpedo mate.

Visiting the Nightclub on base:

KURT: We're at war with Britain, France and a few other small countries. You wouldn't think so. They don't want to get involved. Ha!

ERICH: We're in Warsaw!

HERBERT: Did you read in the paper - we sank the 'Ark Royal'!

WERNER: I hear Schuhart sank the British Carrier 'Courageous'. Got the EKI and EKII for it as well. That'll get the Limeys running.

Fourth Patrol.

Tried to sneak around a convoy in heavy seas; got hit directly in the bow by a destroyer shell

Image

Went down to 90 meters to evade, and then went back up to surface and rigged course to home at flank speed; keeping in with my roleplaying persona, as no U-Boat commander would keep on fighting with that hole.

When I got back, It turned out that my hull integriaty was 50%.

4th Patrol was from

16NOV39 - 29NOV39 (14 days)

It's now January 1940; and fifth patrol is starting up.

Oberleutnant z. S. WeeMadAndo continues to not be given his own boat; he has been given a "damage controlman rating" to help assist in fixing booboos.

If machinist's mate is still open, I'll take it.

As "Uraniun235" is no name for a proper German, you could call me Wilhelm Alshain.
