Those speed freak phantoms at the end scared the fuck out of me. I have it on bullet time firing my best weapon and they are still overwhelming me.

Anyway, by the time I got to the Auburn location I started using the Particle Gun exclussively since I found enough ammo. Instant kills galore.

The phantoms were super-cheap: they appeared close to you, in random directions, and ran up for heaps of damage. AND, AND, you actually lose the ammo fired but when you come back there's no bulletholes everywhere. So... did you go to a pocket universe or something?

What I didn't like was how you lost almost every single weapon towards the end when you needed them the most. I played this game with heavy emphasis on conserving ammo and near the end, my entire arsenal was stripped away. I hate it when games do that. It pisses me off.

I was going to post something yesterday, but I got this sudden craving to go play FEAR. So I did. :P

My system (AMD 2200+, Geforce 6800 128MB, 1 Gig of ram) had no problems running it at near full settings. I was impressed with the lighting techniques, and yes, this is the first game to truly scare the living fuck out of me, (Especially the end!) This game really needs a sequel.
Brains!
