Yes, breaking my vow of non-typingness for a little while since I think it's time to try posting again.

I've heard some people say that the nausea associated with FPS gaming is due to FOV issues, and I'm not entirely sure, but wouldn't a tight corridor severely restrict the FOV?

Similarly, color vision and the ability to perceive shape and motion vary across the field of view; in humans the former is concentrated in the center of the visual field, while the latter tends to be much stronger in the periphery
So, if you're using a large monitor to play games with close environments, the constant movement of the walls in the background could cause issues, as opposed to 'wide open' games like the BattleField series where a large part of the movement is in the peripheral vision.
