Heya guys:

I am back from my little trip and will be posting as soon as I can. I have spent a bit of time thinking about several mp3 songs in my meager collection that I have enjoyed listening and have come up with what I feel is a passable sound guide to various moments within the STGOD. The list is as follows, check out some of the songs if you can. I think they fit.

Whoa, he was a Photojournalist? Well I guess Dalamar's in deep shit now, he killed a completely innocent journalist. And I don't know much about diplomatic immunity, but I believe you still have to respect the laws of the government your under. If a vampire had diplomatic immunity he couldn't run off and start feeding on citizens just because back home he dines on them frequently.

Holy crapm that was a photojournalist!

Um.. I was under the impression that he was an assassin. In fact, Hotfoot seemed to have intentionally mislead me.

In fact, it was duscussed in OOC that he was a "2nd assassin" and hotfoot did nothing to clear that up.

I request to edit the post in order to take that into light. Seeing as I was told he was an assassin. And it is pretty fucked up to leave things that nebulous

Actually, the quote was second "sniper", which is technically true after a fashion. He was taking pictures of a target from seclusion.

You're right, it is pretty fucked up to leave things that nebulous, but guess what, that's life. You don't get perfect intel from a situation, especially when the shit hits the fan, like it did here. You had guys ready to pounce the moment they saw anything, despite the fact that there was no in-character reason for you to suspect that was the case. The downside of paranoia is false positives, and when your people act as quickly as you claim they do, without following any sort of preventative procedures, situations like this are bound to happen. There's a reason paranoia is not considered a positive trait.

You man approached mine from behind, so he wouldn't have gotten a good look at the camera or the press badge before you killed him.

So, yes, it was intentionally ambiguous, because I wanted to see how you'd react. If you had been perhaps a bit more sensible and less gung-ho about it, my man might have been roughed up a bit, but still alive, and Dalamar wouldn't be under arrest. Police follow procedures for a reason, after all.

Also, I have to question your ability to perfectly trap souls with zero prep time and no defenses. Willpower saves prevent the soul from being bound, and unless you study your target to know what type of crystal to use, the crystal will shatter and fail to do anything.

Thoguh again, there is no legal basis to charge Dalamar, he was literally doing his job. And using US laws as a basis, it woul have been legal.

Charges or not, you're still going to be in quite a bad light from all this. You brutally murdered an innocent man on the assumption that he was a trained killer.

Also, I don't know which part of US law you're quoting to make this legal. Could you perhaps provide a reference?
