OK nice. Pity it'll take me weeks or months to get there from the Indien Panzer when it goes live. 92k stored up on the DB, with only 30k free xp gathered from the 5% off regular xp banked.
Almost makes me wish I could trade in the XP i used on getting the M48...
I do know how to spell
AniThyng is merely the name I gave to what became my favourite Baldur's Gate II mage character
I only have...15k or so on the DB. So its going to be awhile till I even hit the Indien. Now if only I weren't so cheap, since I have somewhere around 200k XP saved up across my elited tanks (KV-1, T-150, ELC, PzI)
Holy fuck. It's amazing. I'm driving my Caernarvon on Mines and it's incredible to watch. My team decided to neither go for the hill or the town and instead sort of huddles together at the foot of the hill in the most minimal cover physically possible to wait to die. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest here. They didn't even try to fucking move, even as the enemy came *down* the hill and slaughtered the lot.
Why does the Caernarvon attract morons so much? It's utterly fucking fascinating how every single match I seem to drive in it ends up with things like this. I'm sure it's physically possible to win a match in it, but damned if I can work out how.

According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

I've had much the same experience sometimes with the Caernarvon.
Part of it is that it's such a support tank that it's almost impossible to carry a team in it. If you're in a strong carry tank when you get the retard team you can use them as a HP pool whilst you do all the work, but that's amazingly hard to do in the Caernarvon because it's got low alpha and people aren't scared of it, and you have no armour so they can just jump on you and not care. If your team isn't too much worse than the enemy team then you can do a lot.
Whelp, I didn't win a Type (59 or 62). Not even close really...I think my best match in the Pz I was...maybe 950 XP. So I was a good 600 or so XP off. Oh well, at least I got 1k gold. Now to start converting some sweet, sweet free XP

An Alecto and I single-handedly finished off their base defense, and I at some point killed both of their heavies (Sniped their KV-1, dueled with their T1 HT and won.)

Well, I got my answer to 'I wonder what it'll do if it ever gets a decent team?'. In a match with 3 T9s, including a Centurion 7/1, I came out #2 on the damage tables and #1 on the XP list. That'll do nicely.

Yeah, things are getting better for my Caernarvon. It's now getting more average damage and XP than my Centurion, which initially was doing quite a lot better (though almost all of the skills are transferrable due to the great similarities, so when I go back to that it will hopefully push up further). I'm still missing Ace Tanker in it, but there's a fair old way to go yet as I don't even have the best gun.
The Caernarvon has an 'upgrade' tree rather than an upgrade tree. The 20pdr B is very, very slightly better than the A, and I've never really noticed the final engine. Hopefully, the next 100 matches will actually lead to some more wins though.

KV-4 doesn't really change much with its 'upgrade' modules. Still dirt slow, and the second turret is arguably worse since the traverse and view range still suck, and it trades in a 'big' secondary turret on top, for a 'biiiiiggggg' secondary turret.
Also, the Caernarvon and Centurion make me want to finish off my M6, because I love the troll mantlet and having the supertroll mantlet on the T29 will be fuuun.
When I inevitably run out of credits paying 700 a shot I'll probably build up the M6 whilst i refill.
It has a piece of solid armor steel that just happens to have a gun poking out.
Seriously, the sides of that turret can easily bounce shots from higher tier tanks. Once in mine I face-hugged a Ferdinand to death, and was in the process of doing it to a second when a VK4502A came up and bounced one right off the side. Then they captured our base, sadly, as I was the only one left on my horrible team.
EDIT:
The fun thing about the turrets on the T29/T32/T34/T30 is that while the lower hull is generally low armored, the turret is massive. Essentially, if they are aiming dead-center, there is a good chance they hit your turret and bounce. It's how this happens while I am being stupid and exposing my hull:

Just got back to playing after taking a month off, and this happens. Top XP earner on my team, and I bagged myself two enemy tanks (M2 Medium, T-50) on top of that; I also lit a Crusader on fire and wounded an M7 while I was at it, too. Only the second Invader medal I've received so far, and my first was actually back when I still drove an MS-1, of all things.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.
Phantasee: Don't be a dick.
Stofsk: What are you, his mother?
The Yosemite Bear: Obviously, which means that he's grounded, and that she needs to go back to sucking Mr. Coffee's cock.

And I don't have a T1. Besides, the T-150 of all things got an income boost event a month or two ago.
Hey now...I like the T-150
In all seriousness, that income boost is the only reason I have the KV-4. I got something like four million creds from grinding the T-150 and KV-1 (both got the bonus).
First, a top gun in the Type 59. Nearly 100K credits made. I managed to sneak behind the east-side team of Prokorovka and proceeded to omnom them all from behind.
Second, on a T34, defense in Sand Hill. The enemy was just one of the saddest and most cowardly I'd ever seen. Only ONE tank aggressively pushed north - a Tiger II which I tracked and then had others kill - while the rest decided to engage in a long-ranged shooting match with my hull-down T34.
After inflicting about 1,800 damage, somebody down south finally realized they needed to get up the south hill to push me out of my hull-down position, but I simply relocated to a hull-down position shooting southwards and inflicted another 2,000 damage on the bloody sissies.
I didn't kill a single enemy tank, but I was still top XP.
I had one that was pretty amusing, playing Malinovka, I first did a field light and spotted for a lot of damage, then I went up the hill and just started doing laps on the hill and lit guys on their side of the hill and in the forest while our tanks plinked them to the tune of 7.2k damage. It was beautiful. Then I had a few matches where I couldn't carry because the T71 needs opportunities that it wasn't getting.
Ha. I called it. The M60 is going to be a Super Tester award tank and completely unavailable to everyone else. I'm not surprised in the slightest that Wargaming is denying the US tree a tank that can actually head to head T-55's and T-62's and win. Oh, they'd spout some bullshit about game balance and "vision", but by now anyone with a brain in their head or been bursted down by a T-62 knows better than that.
Never underestimate the ingenuity and cruelty of the Irish.
A US tank already exists that can go head to head with the T62A. It's called the T110E5, which is the main clan wars tank.
Heck, the T-62A is apparently just a second-line clan wars tank for very specific roles. Mostly clans prefer the BatChat apparently if they want a med.
Oh wait, the T-62A isn't particularly better than other tanks in its tier, it's just a balanced all rounder whereas others tend to be specialist at some particular thing, and if they're doing their particular thing properly they are more useful than the all rounder would be.
The VK Leopard is great in the right hands. If you sneak past the front line, it's time to go muhahaha and brutalize the arty. The burst damage from the 3cm + ramming means that arty doesn't get a chance to live after being spotted, which helps in getting Pascucci's as unlike other non-heavy tanks you won't need to worry about dodging the 1% HP left and very angry SPG as you reload.
I know there is a method, but all I see is the madness.
