40K porn... what a novel notion...

We need a new thread for that, though.

BTW, you stole my idea for a snake-like alien. I thought I felt my brains being sucked out last night.

Of course, I (very, very loosely) stole the idea from Starcraft myself. Maybe they'll show up later.

Heh. I remember browsing the DoW forum a couple of times and noticing people that were claiming that DoW was derivative of StarCraft. I laughed myself silly.

I originally got the idea to make a non-humanlike alien species after power-watching B5 over a week. Then I saw that legless Zerg whassname in StarCraft. Then I decided to make them avian (GW stole that idea too!) and 3-legged (GW didn't steal that idea. It's a matter of time. Where's my tinfoil hat gone?). It kinda snowballed from there.

Thankfully the next week I got an school assignment to write an essay on my own alien species. The thing wrote itself and I got an A! And that's why the Polish can't build a decent rocketship.

also if you think I stole the name "Jormundgar" from starcraft, (someone accused me of it over in ASVS when I posted a Fenari* Order of Battle), then please read your Norse Myths.

*Fenari, my ASVS STGOD race, a bunch of Norse/Celt obsessed mock were-wolf space vikings. Originally created in play sessions of Starfleet battles, and 40k Rogue Trader. Basically all of their vehicles have names from either Celt or Norse mythology. hence their fighters are Hugin and Munin classes etc. (actuallly, Hugin are the bombers/Recon planes, while the Munins are the fighters)

Oh yes, Pater's suave flirtation.

Don't worry, I've seen to it they'll have another chance to meet again. What a COINCIDENCE that Uschi chooses a certain uninhabited star to finish putting the ship back together, neh?

I'm sure that Gix won't be suspicious at all, no sir.

Hardy har har.

I blame Pater's upbringing and chosen lifestyle. The Ordo Necrotelecomnicon demands that each member have an augmetic spine shoved up his arse.

Oh, and Typh... I have no clue what it does, besides uber healing stuff.

Well, he's got her attention Pcm. She's much less likely to shoot him in the head right now.

Unfortunately, the Cobras have all the durability of a wet paper bag, and can be outgunned by Imperial Transports at close range. A Mars is good, though - long-ranged guns, launch bays, AND a Nova Cannon. They covered just about every angle when it came to long-ranged nastiness.

Incidentally, if Nathan's going along, does he have any abilities that would help him target the Nova Cannon? For that matter, is the 'guess-range' aspect of the Nova Cannon supported by the fluff, or just a game-mechanics thing?

Bah. Why must I remind everyone that Pater has a personal Pimp Pad and is therefore ideal for this mission? :P

Well, to be pedantic, Pater isn't out to get some booty (so far) because he doesn't know that, rather coincidentally, the poor Traders are headed for the same system he and a Chaos fleet are.
