New Trailer is out
Krile is a PICTOMANCER... which seems to be like Relm Arrowny's (FF3/6) ability to paint an enemy and then that painting deals that enemy's attack/damage to a target.

There is a rumor of a BEASTMASTER, which will be a Limited Job like BLU. No details on how it will work yet.

Then they released this:

A Amaurot-like cityscape. Is it a hidden city in Toril? It is Ancient-made? Allagan? Something on another Shard?

Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

MORE DAWNTRAIL UPDATES

DawnTrail Trailer plus NEW JOBS and PLAYABLE RACE

Viper we'd seen teased before. Pictomancer is the new Caster.
There will be a new Limited Job -- BEASTMASTER, but no details on it yet. I'm assuming it will be done like Blue Mage.

The New RACE is just Female Hrothgar. Nice leonine features, for those who want to play Sehkmet instead of Bast.

If someone's playing the FF7 Remake, I'm looking forward to knowing what happens to Aerith this time.

Unfortunately, I don't have the system to run it and find out for myself.

Btw for those interested the Benchmark for Dawntrail is out

Female Hrothgar are included for the Benchmark too so you try that to see if you like the look.

So.... Where does Yoshi P go from here? This was only the first release, what else can he have planned for Tural?

Right we've not really commented on Dawntrail, Let me give my thoughts on that first.

7/10 is the best I can give it, there were some parts I liked there were some parts that were meh and there was a lot of parts that were painful to sit through. When the final battle happens and we get the big run it I was audibly groaning to myself as the POWER OF FRIENDSHIP! Gets put on full display but it's the Saturday morning cartoon version not the kinds of examples we saw in Endwalker.

I mean.. look at the polarity poll.

Image

When your main character for the expansion gets no where near the top 10 you know you have an issue.

And a second image I'll post.... spoken dialog

Image
And the hell of it is, I liked Wuk Lamats voice actor it was mostly very good voice action (Aside from the odd SPHEEEEN) but yeah... I really like Tural and I was mostly happy till end of the 94 quests but there was some serious missteps.

As for where they can go from here... unless Solution Nine goes away or the interdimensional portal gets blown up we have something the 1st and the 13th both need. The void already knows how to make portals to the source, time to aim the 13th at the 1st and maybe pull off a clean rejoning? We have the example of solution nine, lets stick Norvrandt out in the ocean somewhere or maybe move the light to the 13th?

I have heard that Wuk Lamat's actor has been getting hate mail. Something about being Trans and assholes being assholes about it?

Odd, browser claimed the message hadn't gone through but it's showing now... anyway, will cut the "yep" and go with the rest of what I was saying.

As for that poll... I mean, where did it come from? How many players participated? What was the methodology? Was it ranked choice preference, "pick three/five/ten", or just "what's your favorite"?

Because know I'd put Lamaty'i in the top three easily, and a one-off raid boss isn't even in the listing. She's barely a character. :-P

The poll was the official/unofficial JP popularity poll run by Umadori, it has all the rigorous polling standards of a fan run poll on a fan run website. So you know only the highest of scientific methodology I will note however this popularity poll has been run before,

Endwalker top ten were

1) Emet-Selch 4621 votes(17.2%)

2) Hythlodaeus 3513 votes (13.1%)

3) Venat / Hydaelyn 3136 votes(11.7%)

4) G'raha 1546 (5.8%)

5) Meteion 1295 (4.8%)

6) Alisae 1197 (4.5%)

7) Hermes 961 (3.6%)

8 ) Estinien 930 (3.5%)

9) Alphinaud 893 (3.3%)

10) Urianger 869 (3.2%)

With Zenos just missing the top ten at number 11. This is a fan site, it's browser based voting but it's generally see as a nice snapshot of what the community things just after the X.0 patch has dropped for each expansion. But to answer your question, there is no advance methodology, no double blind study, no control group.

WELL, Y'shtola is very interested in the artifact we hold, that we know has Azem's seal on it. I am very sure that over the next few expansions, we'll find out that it can take us to the remaining Reflections, and the 10yr plan is either to find a SAFE WAY to rejoin the spheres, or just work out connections to keep them balanced with Source.

With the current Raid storyline, I think Vaan'Diel was Rejoined, and what's left is just fragments left in the Aether between, so we won't be going there. I doubt there's much left to see of Alexandria's world, it probably was also Rejoined outside of what Sphene's scientists managed to trap within the barrier.
The world of FF4/2 became The Void.
Not sure which FF game FIRST was from.
The world of FF Tactics we know is on Eltheys, Dalamasca and all, but unless they invite that writer back we may never get a full accounting or find out the truth behind Ultima Prime, Auracite, and its connection to the Eye of Sabek.
That leaves ... which FF worlds? FF7? FF10? We've had a visitor from FF15 and 16, so those worlds exist but are they fragments of Rejoined Worlds or still out there?
And how could they tie in FF16 considering how the game ends? Spoiler
They destroy all the crystals and magic goes away
