Decepticon here as well. GO BLUE! I had no real reason to pick them, just sounded cooler, and I remember them being the "bad guys" from the show i used to watch as a kid. (great bad guy name too, very creative... "Decepticion". They don't sound very deceiving, do they?)DPDarkPrimus wrote:Out of curiousity, who here is Autobot, and who here is Decepticon?

I am a Decepticon.
Joined the Decepticons 'cause I wanted to form a villian group based on a TV show.

Ah Strafing...if only I grabbed on of my eariler Arena's(I have one up already about the joys of mass strafing)
That and Ram(and Ram can take off chunks so far my best is 26% in one hit)
And yes I'm a decep...probably aside from some weirdo glitches one of the higher ranked of the SDN group (actually before the bug I was number 6 with Skylight...number 23 with Starstorm.)

Nah, I'm an Autobot, too, though I haven't been playing as much lately. My top character has only 14K experience, and I'm reluctant to crank him up to level one.Ghost Rider wrote:Actually I'm thinking Crayz and Gandalf are the only Autobots here.

Ah oops forgot ZShade(I've actually faced him and Crayz on the arena...and won )
And yeah I agree with Zshade of leveling...get your tactics up then stats.
But for killing...check out the difference of power done for a couple strafes(weapons seem to help at the very least)

On the flip side, a few days ago, all four of my active bots took on Mitthrawnuruodos I-IV and won. Granted, I had a XP advantage, but the luck factor in this game is stupidly high sometimes.
"N00b defeated Prime Convoy"
I actually had two characters at Lvl 1. I just reset their stats and redistributed thier points. I was getting bitchslapped a wee-bit too often, and I want more points in Avoid, especially for missions.Ghost Rider wrote:And yeah I agree with Zshade of leveling...get your tactics up then stats.
Strafe is stupid good. One of my characters was dropped in three actions. One Strafe, one Diffraction Sword hit, a second Strafe, and he was out. Ram is almost as fun.Ghost Rider wrote:But for killing...check out the difference of power done for a couple strafes(weapons seem to help at the very least)

LOL...yeah Ram is fun.
For me I raised my tactics to 4 before leveling...I wanted them to reap as much as possible before I go higher.
So far Ram and Strafe have served well...but amazingly Avoid gives massive points if you do it around 4-5 times in a mission.

Yeah, I read that in one of your earlier posts. It's why I reset my top guy and put him at Skill 3 and Avoid 3. Future points are going to Avoid.Ghost Rider wrote:So far Ram and Strafe have served well...but amazingly Avoid gives massive points if you do it around 4-5 times in a mission.

I'm feeling a little bit burned out on HMW; mostly my guys do only one or two missions a day now. This being the case, I'd like to open up the possibility of sharing control of my team with another SD.net-er (Decepticon, of course) who plays more regularly than I.

I just upped another level of strafe. MUWHAHAHA.
Don't know why they aren't more common, but guns rock. Fairly good damage, and firing rate.

That was you??!?!? I don't even look at the battles anymore, I just glance to see won/lost, and then I throw the other TFs in there. Rarely have I lost against all four battles, but it DOES happen.ZShade wrote:It happens.Ghost Rider wrote:Ah oops forgot ZShade(I've actually faced him and Crayz on the arena...and won )

You know, Strafe is really unbalancing. Ram is available to both semis and tanks, and repair is available to both bulldozers and ambulances. But strafe? Only weapons, and both weapons are on the Decepticon side.
Of course, that's not to say that anything's perfect. But it would be nice to have an Autobot tactic that at least slightly balanced it out...
