Take the time. Or just wait until you do have the time, I can hold a spot.

Ok, here's my character as it stands so far. He could probably be termed (A) the stereotypical rogue, (B) the packrat, or (C) the jack-of-all-trades.

I was going to use 3eprofiler for the character sheet, but my session timed out while I was doing it so I decided against having to re-enter all the data and simply copied it over to a plain text document.

Ok, my char is finished. I decided to lose my greatsword in place of a katana, and got a lion's shield as well as a wand of detect magic and a wand of light.

You won't be able to see through invisibility via detect magis, and you'd have to concentrate to be able to read an aura for more than one round, tycho.

No, but he can see very roughly where you are.

According to the rulebook regarding Detect Magic, he needs to concentrate for a full 3 rounds to actually know the location of an aura. And it's range and time limited. Given that I am faster than a heavily armoured paladin, that would be very quick.

Or maybe not so nice. Too early to tell.

Would you object to being part of the merc ships crew? Part of their land team?

Just wondering (and sorry for dredging up a really old thread, it's supposed to be OOC so we might as well use it) is A) my character too stereotypical to really be useful, B) too Mary Sue-ish, C) bad because I didn't use 3eprofiler, or D) not really fitting into the storyline well?

No, I was just waiting for a good point to intro you, and one has arrived. The teams "mysterious savior" is going to give them a new member, and your in. You'll be porting in momentarily.

Sorry this took so long, the team didn't react the way I expected.

But If you put your char on 3eprofiler it would be helpfull.

Just wondering, how were we "supposed" to react?

I can't give away too much, but you wern't supposed to hurl fireballs, that merc ship wasn't supposed to sink, and Tas should have lost that duel.

Ok, here's the 3EProfiler charsheet for Johan. Minus about three-fourths of his inventory (there just aren't enough lines for the whole thing).
