The guard only needs to take one look at the warrant to send you straight to the castle, with an escort.
At the castle, you are led to the royal steward, who promptly pays out the rest of the bounty.

At the palace library, you discover that trolls are species of humanoid (2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head) animals that live in a hive-like setting. They have three genders, male (the king), female (the harem), and neuters (workers and warriors).
The trolls of the Caves of Carado have been ravaging the land around them, just a month previously they exterminated a town of over a thousand people.
Trolls are vulnerable to fire, due to the large amounts of methane that build up in their bodies over time. Otherwise, they are unremarkable beyond their large toothy mouths, and strong claws.
Mustaches are very uncommon, as they were an affectation of the pretender.
