Shameless advertising! If any of you guys are corpless, feel free to hit me up in game under the same name. I'm in Intrepid Crossing, which is way out in the dronelands. Not the ideal 0.0 situation, but...hey... not empire.

On another note, I came across a very interesting post in the EVE forums, which I'll reproduce here.
Early espionage reports confirm IT and the south fleets have planned an offensive on the day Julius Caesar was slain so that they could symbolically make a statement that the end is near and that the countdown has started. And up to this moment, no further intel could be gained as they kept the exact details secret from all.

Hehe, and they almost got away with it. ALMOST 

Last week has been riddled with events and activity in the anti-NC alliances. So the lot and myself have taken steps to try and dig out at least some info for the forums. This is what we have been able to gather.

Between March 13th and 15th, a small group blue to IT has been instructed to move up in the northern low sec areas to “scout” out the enemy troops and strongholds. The names of the individuals involved will be kept secret as it seems they are pretty much working both ways. The job was to find an entry point and a weak spot in the north and to prep up cap ship logistic routes to these low sec points. Primarily, it was believed that the massive strike on the NC will come through TCF space and pet alliances residing in Deklein. Well, that turned out to be either a wrong call or false intel “leaked” by the IT themselves. What turns out to be the weakest spot in the whole of the north regions is Vale and Geminate. Actually, Vale of Silent at the moment is defended with few forces, mainly pet alliances sucking up to the northern landlords. And as this was the case, decision was made to use Nalvula and Obe systems as start points for all attacks on the northern territories. M-O and P3E systems will be attacked on a daily basis as the idea is to secure those entry points for standard southern fleets that can come in and harass the areas beneath those systems. This is to be the first front line.

In the course of a couple of hours, a few Atlas mains and alts were seen in the area of Akora area, moving up through the Geminate pipeline. As news came in from eyes in the alliance, a few small groups moved into the area primarily for “roams and easy ganks”, but now it is confirmed that Oijanen will be the kick off spot for Atlas. So the second line will be drawn in BWF area. But it is highly unlikely that NC will be able to spread forces that far between each other so not much is expected to happen there. It’s a guess that whatever is found between Vale and Geminate will be hammered by IT and Atlas roaming fleets.

The xXLegionsXx and Solar (Eastern Block) will also participate in this war, but will not be supporting neither north nor south. As we were lead to believe, in case of any major engagements between NC and IT, the eastern block will avoid direct confrontation with IT fleets and will only provide support in manners of disrupting supply routes, intercepting POS placements and providing local intel on roaming fleets and possible cap fleets. But knowing those guys, it would be easy to assume that they have their own plans, despite what Molle and Manny have in plan.

In order to put some pressure on the northern alliances, a few empire wars will be triggered, but that’s nothing new. Idea is to bring the level of those supply routes to a degree which can be described as “problematic”.

Last but not least, -A- and hoes. The Providence fights are coming to an end. That chapter is done and it is now up to the diplos to come to terms with Aralis and his band of merry men. It seems that the Provi war was actually a practice for the anti-NC campaign. –A- will come in last, taking positions in Black Rise low sec (?). What still is unclear is whether –A- will come in with IT or whether they will be their hammer in Cloud Ring. Most of the lads speak a bit of Russian, but we still could not determine what the hell are the kalinkas planning to do. Russian slang is bloody hard to understand. But what we have been able to make out is that apparently a massive hotdrop fleet with at least 2-3 logi titans as support will almost always be on standby and it will be directed by kalinkas.

What is 100% certain, in the upcoming events, IT and south are not coming for moons nor for the fights. This time they come to burn, erase and evict MM and Razor specifically. WI, Mostly Harmless, Majesta Empire don’t seem to be of any concern to them. The feeling is that once MM and Razor are off the scene, their space will be sold off to the alliances that offer the most isk.

Overall, rumors about a campaign hitting off soon are false. The campaign is already in motion. What differs then the previous ones is this one is actually planned by both sides as a lot of moves are made in utter silence.
For those who don't play the game, IT Alliance is currently the single largest and most powerful alliance in the game, controlling some of the best space in the game. They're also at the head of an extremely large coalition, which encompasses IT, -A-, and all of their various pets and allies. Atlas and Sys-K might also be involved. Any comments by anyone?

Invading space and selling it off to friendly renters or allies. Is this a new phenomenon or did I just not see it before? Providence is getting this treatment, and now it seems to be all the rage.
This keeps up, all of eve will one day be blue...and wouldn't that be a problem for CCP.

It's the smart thing to do now. Moon minerals aren't shit anymore, and holding sov is expensive. The days of holding systems just for shits and giggles are over. But holding influence over space and getting paid for the right to have someone else pay the sov fees...that's another story.

Well just a quick status update on my side of Eve...

Providence has been really quiet as of late, quiet in the context of systems being taken and whatnot. Sodallite and Daisho seem to be getting well settled in inside their pockets and I do wish them the best on that endeavor, I know that CSA is still trying to make their life hard, but it seems that Severance has lost some of it's fire when Genos left.

A word to my fellows on this board that have moved out of Providence or are considering it, I started out in Proviblock and moving to the other side was probably the best move I have ever made. If you like the area and wanted to stay, switching sides might be a good idea.

On the IGS forum on the Eve boards....

LFA has publically split with CVA, both in policy and in standings. I think they are making their move to survive the burning of Providence, but I do hope they have talked to -A- about this, otherwise it might not matter in the end.

Things in that thread are getting nasty, CVA started out to be haughty but disinterested, but things have changed.

Good to hear the southern bloc's renters are settling in. I'm itching to murder some carebears.

As of today, CVA has no more outposts in Providence.

While they still hold space in Providence, all of their stations have been claimed by -A- or it's allies. I suspect they will be dropping Sov in all of those systems that they still hold, as their economic infrastructure has been gutted.

This is the end of an era in Eve.
