The Free Floater Republics see things the same way you do- this treaty group exists largely to protect free trade against those who do NOT share your love of freedom.

Whether you join or not, you will receive free trade from all floater clusters. Other nations may have a different point of view, however.

The slaves of the Empire are essentially indentured servants, with none of the barbaric practices that plagued our homeworld. If the Emperor were to rename them as such, would the assembled be appeased?

Freedom is not something that one must buy. It is something one has, simply by virtue of being human. Your "Indentured Servitude" turns freedom into a commodity, one which can be cought, sold, and stolen.

And that brings us to the point of my membership...We have a small fleet of ships prepared to join ITA forces should we be accepted
