Secret of Mana - when I finally beat the game. I cried like a little bitch. Like a little 12 year old bitch. I had invested so much time and then the Sprite fucking dies. That and the end music didn't help lift my spirits. Still, best time I ever had with my Super Nintendo.

yup. Those already mentioned do bring back memories.
But one of the most memorable games for me was Desert strike on Sega.
it was so life like in those days. The cutscenes were awesome and the four
campaigns were hard. Jungle strike wasnt as good as Desert but still close second.
