I've finished the game and got a ~-3800 Karma.

"By eliminating the deathclaws of Vault 13 you banished yet
another species to the realms of extinction, proving, once
again, that genocide is a viable solution to any problem..."

You get this ending even if you did not kill them IIRC.

There is another ending for it. Uhmm actually it is more of a non-ending. You complete the mission within a certain timeframe and the deathclaws get no mention at the end.

I had to get a blood patch to enjoy the entire game.

The morons cut the kids, the most bloddy death animations and the entire military base from the game.

God I hate german versions of games.

I believe that cut also stops you from finding the kid that gets lost down the well.

If you have a relatively small -66 or so rating, a lot of people will refuse
to do business with you; but if you hit -700 or something, they'll happily
deal with you.

I think this is a realistic implementation of the "Bastard Son Of A Bitch"

how about we use the guardian of forever encounter to send a fully hacked 7000hp, ac 200, ap 30, all tens, carry of 975, 95% all resistance, 300% all skills, 95% criticacle, bonus criticels, bloody mess, sniper, living anatomy, etc. Vault dweller, armed with gate keeper robes, RR LE bb gun w. 50,000 rounds, and solar scrocher pistol against the whole dominion of the Draka.

I never really understood the point behind the BB guns. Statwise they seemed less powerful then the other assault weapons you have at the time when you find them.

Most are pretty bad the but the Red Ryder(limited edition) version always has a base damage 25.

So while not as good as some of the larger weapons...it doesn't require much strength, has a low AP cost and decent range.

I always thought of it as a gun you use if you're not a combat guy really.

This 1.03 patch is fucking shit. You travel anywhere with the car and it fucking disappears when you get there!

What fucking moron could miss such a big fucking bug? Seraph, you're a fucking dumbass. What a waste of fucking time playing FO2 again was. Next time I'll stick with the 1.02 patch that actually fucking works. Fucknut.

Still, i'm having fun playing my fastest gun in the west. it's very fun......

There ARE other unofficial patches......I'm off to try them next

You know how long it takes to get the car in Fallout 2- you need to have basically completed it up to Vault City & Gecko (i.e. Klamath, the Den, Modoc & Ghost Farm)- with enough money to pay for the fuel cell controller and fuel cell regulator installation. Look, man, just trot off to Navarro right out of Arroyo and do the Vertiberd Plans quest. Steal a little from the merchants in 'Frisco, and you're golden when you get the car.

I'd like to see a patch get you through Arroyo. The game just isn't fun in Arroyo. Just get a saved-game file that has all the quests done, but let us hack it to put our own character in. Gives us a perk and a couple levels right off the bat...

I've been playing "Arcanum" again, and noticed that the dog is the most kick ass NPC in both Fallout and Arcanum.....

What dog? I've played Arcanum and I've been banned from the first town (I forgot it's name since I haven't played it for a while) for saving and then robbing the bank. That and I've killed everyone in the town.

you bitch out a gnome for kicking a poor defenseless dog who just wanted something to eat, and you get your best pall in the whole wide world.

This dog has high enough str/con/dex that he kills monster's with one bite that would take you 3-7 shots with what ever your using to do.

Ahh.. unfortunately that dog will most likely not see the light of day since with the exception of Tarant, I will kill off everyone like I did in FO2.

You can talk to the gnome them kill him off, if you just kill him his ghost will continue to kick the damn dog to death, however you can ressurect the dog, after the gnome's ghost is done kicking him to death, and in the patch the dog will join you.

The dog is very loyal, and never becomes pissed at you regaurdless of what NPCS do, how many fights you get in, or are evil or good. best yet if you ressurect the dog his loyalty increses by 15% each time... (I kinda had to ressurect the dog three times taking down a lich, he's now got a 90% loyalty factor puppy at my side, who kills elementals, and demons quickly, and we're only 23rd level....)

Actually I use restore life (1500 to 2000 coin compared to ressurection's 4500 to 6000 coin)
