The Great Leader brought quite a lot of expertise along with him.

Yes, I know.

300 years ago was 300 years ago :P

Now, the biggest, baddest warships are 15 km SSDs, and they are few in number. Commonwealth Dreadnoughts are becoming increasingly less rare.

Would you like Quaynar Industries to restart their Centerpoint-II production line?

Actually, I'd recommend it, because I'm going to make with the flipping out in naval construction very soon. My developement efforts in the Shiva march have afforded me the resources to do so, and I'd like to capitalize on it.

WTF is a centerpoint 2, anyways?

It's about time the HAB ramped up Death Star type repulser tank production as well.

Take Centerpoint Station, from the Corellian Trilogy. Scale it up (the concept anyway) to the diameter of the second Death Star. Add two massive hypermatter reactors and two DS1-level superlasers, plus an assload of conventional arms. Then fit the whole thing with the mother of all hyperdrives.

It's like the Swiss Army Knife of superweapons.

HMS Confederation is still here, you know, and is probably one of the better superdreadnought-scale ships.

-shrug- The age of the Planetoid Fleet is over. These are the Dark Ages, and your fleet size is measured in the hundreds, not the billions.

Well, you know, we don't get many history texts out here in the border systems. Forgive us if our information about ancient times is a bit rusty...

It's only been 300-odd years! And at least for General Ambassador Nguyen, ancient history is something like of the pre-Diaspora Roman Empire

Oh, and Beowulf- your Dreadnoughts are actually significantly weaker than Commonwealth Adrastea Armored Cruisers, which are the primary combatants of the Commonwealth navy, and are far less numerous that your Dreadnoughts (fleet size scale, right?)

You know Thirdfain, usually it takes some time to begin and end a FTL journey. And so you're not only trying to pacify part of the Azegart, but you've also just chomped off 1/5 of the Aquarians, AND are patrolling, not just the space that you control, but for several hundred light years out side of each of those zones? Hello Mr. Overextended.

And yes, my forces are individually weaker than other powers. That's the reason why I just sent a task force to this little interruption.

And do you seriously think that I would start threatening to blow up ships that aren't in my territory? And by in, I mean in prewar territory. Not that I've expanded since then.

So fuck off!

And goddamn it, you can't fucking intercept a fucking ansible! *points to OOB* I've had that in there since before day one. In fact, it's been in there since the original ASVS STGOD1!
