The Narn ground troopers didn't bring guns?

The Librarian didn't suggest a redo. Dalton didn't even suggest a redo when in the Star Trek game he got homeworlds half as good as everybody else and it ended up costing him the game. It was me that suggested it not him.

And the Narns didn't bring guns? Wtf.

Well, my mistake there. You're right B, Dalton hasn't suggested a roll back, so sorry Dalton.

Well that's OK Tobor, I won't rip your head off...yet.

As for Narn troops not having any guns, well, I guess I forgot to research Smaller Weapons. However, the over 3000 Centauri troops that Trogdor gave me would have slaughtered you...if they had been able to land.

Yeah i obviously didnt pick up on that since i already had the specs for Centauri infantry. That definately would have been a surprise.

1450 Dilgar troops * 1.05 (Warriors Cultural Ground Combat) = 1522.5
3000 Centuari troops * 0.5 (Narn Racial Ground Combat) = 1500

Dilgar are defending and get first strike.

Advantage: Dilgar.

That's my analysis, at least.

I don't think that Centauri troops would take on Narn racial traits, would they?

The Narns have -50 to GC? Wow bad stuff.

You might not have been able to kill off all 3000 troops at once. So Dalton might have brought in that medium transport I see on the wormhole with more troops next turn and won.

How did the battle go, did the starbases annihilate the ships?

Well, pretty much. Despite the Narn coming in Waves only a couple of starbases ever mobilised for each engagement and between them and the two cruisers and my carriers my defence was a given.

Had they all come at once it would be a lot harder to call. Those starbases are pretty well armed though so i dont know.

Oh and Guppy, in your calculation you forgot the twenty percent bonus for defending a homeworld hub.

I think they might Dalton, because for some reason Q32 III has 24 facilities on it. BUt for me it says 24/20 so i assume you have a racial that gives you better space utilisation. I dont want to destroy a facility to build another if i can't be sure of replacing it. Also the CUltural / racial qualities of that lpanet are now identical to all my others despite being populated by narns.

That's ships, actually.

I believe they do. It would take explicit coding to ensure they didn't, after all.

Weird. My ships appeared directly in orbit over the Dilgar, in the middle of their formations. Instead of in it's own, allowing a rather nasty first round.

That happened to the Narn before, didn't it?

It happened to the Dilgar attacking the Narns.

Hahaha take that Sharlins . Looks like the Dilgar came out on top again, suddenly I'm happy Marxis picked the Dilgars.

How did he beat you, starbases? You should be able to survive more than one round, if you're using heavy armors.

Hey I looked at your Sharlin Mk. IV you only have one armor... not enough.

He only has 250 and 350 kT ships, still first shot must have wiped out most of your fleet since you only had 1 armor...

Yeah, my first model just has shields. It seems to be the first-shot got me primarilly. After that on the replay, my ships pulled back and took out most of those DDs.

How weird though. Why are we appearing in the middle of the battle instead of on map edges?

My guess is... all the military alliances and partnerships messing up SE:IV's placement algorithm. I have a T&R with you, a military with Dilgar, a non-agression with the Vorlons...

The battle was incredibly ugly.

Cool the Vorlons have a baseship out! Looks like a planetkiller too. And wow, unmounted Vorlon weapons do 200 damage!

Well it looks like the Narns are gonna be enslaved... ah well, crap luck Dalton. Unless G'Kar can swallow his pride somehow.

Watching is fun hehe. So many things happening and I'm not really doing anything.

Bah. Just an excuse to have a personal reason to do Delenn's entire 'hunt them down!' speach sometimes. And to start showing off the Valen'thas. :P
