Damn... I was hoping it was wide like the Amazon and we could tack into the wind when cannon shots were fired. We would be able to dodge cannonballs that way...

I personally know a few things... I like military tactics, and have a friend that sails. I dont knw what the various sails are called, but I know a little bit about ship movement and Ship of the Line combat.

I'm prepping counter-spells of every and any kind incase that mage gets angry.

The ship begins it's manuver, when you see the crew of the Flame run two cannons up to the back and set them into braces. With a loud BOOM a hole appears in your ships sail

Looking at tghe hole appear in the sail above, "Oh shit! There does any semblance of a good day." Turning to the captain of the solaris, "Might I suggest we fall back out of range of their cannons, and follow them at a distance. We may not be able to catch them but we can follow them for good while, and we're bound to come across a friendly sooner or later."
