Ian gives you directions to Duncan's house. It is a few miles to the east. He also tells you that Duncan frequents The Rusty Blade, a local tavern. The wiry old fellow then bolts off into the shadows.

"Get up," he says gruffly. The stout fellow is well armed and armored, and seemingly incarcerated in the same small cell as you. You have all your equipment.

"That durn fool dark man get ye?" the dwarf asks.

Well all he said was I`d be useful thats all thn I guess he cast a spell on me.....* I look at the dwarf rolling a 23 wohoo does he have any nordic items on him? I speak in Norse* < Are you from around here or Scandanavia?>

He leads you out onto the street, where three white steeds wait patiently. "I hope you can ride," he says dryly, hopping on the nearest.

I pick up and cuddle my beloved familiar as I follow him, and hop on a horse.

I should be able to control the animal, unless we get into combat...

The dwarf does not seem to like his situation and boldly proclaims, "Too bad ye won't be! Lemme outta 'ere and I'll turn ye into meat stew! I'll drink the blood from yer skull! I'll-" He is cut short by some unseen force and collapses on the floor. The dark figure sighs, "I wish he wouldn't do that... No matter, time is on our side. I'll see you in a few hours."
