When is the game susposed to patch?

Goddamned commie socialist Yurpeans, getting things first and shit! *Shakes fist* :) No patch here yet, guess I'll just have to wait a few more hours.

I like that you now see your shells flying. And sweet Jebus those machineguns on Brit cruiser tanks are wtfpwntastic in low tier matches.

The T82 is horrible. It has less armor than the M37, which itself is a cardboard box with a gun. I decided to try and grind through it anyway. After being killed by a missed shot from a KV-1, I've decided to burn through some of my free XP to get to the next tier. Which, btw, I could've done when I sold the T18.
That's odd. I recall the T82 being fun as crap stock. In fact, from when I bought it, to when I reluctantly sold it well after picking up the T40, I never even upgraded from the base gun. Then again, this was in, what, 6.8? HE system and like has changed a bit. Mostly recall using the decent angle of fire and size to find good hides and just rain rounds down, occasionally backing to cover.

I've played it more recently...not bad, but not really great either. The HE doesn't mean as much when you can end up against the likes of KV-1s and PzIV's (since TD MM is the way it is).

The M8A1 was much more fun (Can't comment on the T40 since I didn't get it).

Oh my god, I love the VK 2801. Hits 90 kmh downhill, while it's not as manueverable as the T-50-2 it can still turn pretty well, it's got heavy enough armor to bounce the occasional shot, and the weight to ram nearly any scout in the game and kill them immediately. The 105 derp means that it can hurt anything in the game, and if you run into lightly armored tanks like the Hellcat you can sometimes one-shot them. This thing is a monster.

Well, part of it is that I had to transition from a tank made of durasteel (or whatever magic they made to give the T18 51mm front) to one that got its plates by leeching from the arty assembly lines.

It's just so darn frail, and the people who I can kill before they can kill me, know this. So when I spot them, they wait until their buddy snipes me first, or flanks me, or whatever.

In low tier battles it's okay, but I got paired with KVs and Churchills, and man, they don't even stop to shoot at me. They just fire when they get the opportunity, or as one did, actually run me over after backing me into a corner. The T40 has been a much better experience so far, since it can survive a strong breeze.

The BESA will become a bit less nasty I think, all the low teir UK tanks spamming all matches at the moment make it seem more useful than it will be. The Pom Pom though? That thing is fucking vicious.

Yeah, the effectiveness of the BESA at the moment is magnified by the fact that everyone is playing in cardboard tanks at the moment.

Although with 25mm average pen it would still be pretty effective against many tier 1-3s. As long as they're not French.

Not too bad. What's the use of the 40mm pom pom? Why is that cannon tier IV? The QF 2-pounder is one tier lower, but all the stats are better...

The Pom Pom has a 4 round mag with almost no delay between shots, and it only takes a few seconds to reload the mag. Close in you'll tear through an enemy's HP in seconds. It has pretty poor aim time and dispersion though, which is why you see packs of A13s charging in close to spam it.

In cramped spaces, Mk.Is are a travel hazard:

If that guy in front of me had died too (he was the one in the gap) I'd have to go around, or try to climb that rubble pile with a dead engine.

Not the best battle I've ever had in my KV, but certainly the most interesting. The match was going about even, until the very end. It was just me, a Stug, and a Brit Matilda left near the enemy cap, with no one near OUR base. Thankfully, instead of doing the smart thing and sending half of their remaining tanks in either direction, the enemy sent ALL their team back to their base. For a while, the Stug and I double-teamed them, and shot up their team as the crested the ridge (they were coming from the valley). But then the Stug got blown up, leaving just me with only about 100 hp left. Thankfully I had a nice hull-down position, and they could only hit my suddenly neutronium-coated turret. I don't even know how many shells I bounced from a Matilda BP, another KV (that one was literally solid grey on the front of its turret from zero damage pens), and a T40...oh, and a Church Mk 1.

I took out the BP and the Church, at which point our basic Matilda finally arrived. He took the attention of the other KV (Idiotic really, a Matilda couldn't hurt him while I most definitely could), allowing me to get some good hits in. Of course, I couldn't keep the Matilda alive, but I avenged him by taking down the KV. That left just me and the T40, and I got a shot off that took him down to half health, while his bounced off my SUPER-TURRET (tm). My team was cheering me on, while the T40 retreated down into that ravine in the middle of the map. I just slowly trundled forward, and made him chicken out and keep going lower and lower. Until the guy finally ended up in the water and died that way.

I really wish I had a replay :P

Battle: Widepark Thursday, November 01, 2012 1:58:33 PM

Credits received: 19,442 (fine for causing damage to allies: 1,050)

Pretty good battle, best I've had in that tank so far. I just sat under the bridge where their arty couldn't get me and their was stone and hill to cover my sides, and fired at the guys who kept trying to peekaboo me. Killed the three guys on their side of the hill who had been killing everyone that tried to go under the bridge. Also snuck up on a Churchill and brought him down to 8% and a KV finished him.

The fines were because an A13 Mk.II rammed me from behind right after the game start.

Also the A13 has hell of gun depression, which means it's great at camping on ridges, and getting up the hills on Province just became even more suicidal.

The A13 Covenanter is easily the most fun Tier 4 vehicle I've seen. Most T4s are absolutely crap, terribly unfun and awkward. But this thing is fast and has great DPS if you know how to aim. Brilliant.

My first game with it?

Anyone who likes autocannons but finds them frustratingly ineffective, this is your hour. All the Tier 1 and 2 matches are full of very lightly armored British tanks that have basically no protection against 20mm fire.

It also helps that the Mk 1 is the size of a barn :P

And I find it hilarious that everyone else has tankettes, but the Brits have a 'medium' for their Tier One.

Oh, and I think I'm re-buying my PzII for this...time to go slaughtering some Brits...

There's certainly a lot of fun MG action at Tier 1-2!

Seriously, the thing does 200 damage in a split second against tanks of it's own tier and lower, every 5 seconds. And to the sides of Tier 5 mediums/TDs. While being fast and low to the ground with great depression. There's nothing bad about this tank at all. It even hilariously outguns the Tier V Crusader in a head to head match. Crusader's doing a touch over 150 every 2 seconds if both shots hit. A13's doing 200 in a split second, or spread over time to adjust aim.

I've been having lots of fun with my BT-2 - with the 45mm (I think) gun, it can two-shot nearly everything British that shows itself.
