The Gothic 3 demo has arrived over at File Planet. It's over 1 GB, and no doubt has plenty of the frustratingly tough moments that marked the first two games in the series. I'm looking forward to seeing what becomes of the nameless hero, Lee, Diego, and the rest of the gang.

Edit: FilePlanet sucks, you have to sign up for it? Argh. Maybe there's an alternate source...

Edit #2: Fileshack also has it, though they also try to get you to sign up.

I hope they've still got the broken 'crime detection' system, so you can kill everyone in the game one at a time again.

In the cities they will just belt you unconscious(leaving you with a sliver of health left) and take the stolen goods back

That doesn't actually tell me ANYTHING about the 'crime detection' system... but... err... thanks?
