The N-Game

Trust me, it's even more freakishly addicting than the Missile game, I've been playing it for years.

Masochism is about right. Getting that far alone probably raised my blood pressure to dangerously high levels at times. I think one time I blacked out and woke up naked on the roof, sitting cross-legged in front of a carefully-arranged assortment of squirrel droppings in the shape of the N ninja.

N is ... strange. It is the hardest, most frustrating game I have ever played, and yet, I can't stop playing it. I mean, it's so good.

I personally think it's very good. The mechanics are a lot of fun to play around with, and there are quite a few levels that I'll just play for the sake of flinging N around like a crazy assed ... well, ninja. Many of the levels are very clever.

And the steep difficultly curve is fucking manly. Look at Uraniun's picture. He's even manlier than before for pulling of that piece of awesome.

I still find I enjoy the original levels the most, the first few.

I know the creator of this game, and he still can't belive that it became this popular. I should interview sweeny soon...

Indeed, though I must admit I like several from later on as well. Guass Arena, for example, is excellent fun. Frankly, all the ones where quick movment and seat of your pants, skin of your teethdodging and fling across the level are enjoyable, at least to me.

a lot of the user made levels are fun, I like user-made levels best because you can choose the kind of levels you like best without having to go through as many crappy levels to get to them.

I had this thing a year ago, and beat all but one level without cheating. It's not easy, but I played similar games on the fucking Commodore 64 with a joystick with all the response of a kicked corpse, so this isn't too far out of my experience.
