Seriously, WTF in that video is so bad as to necessitate the questioning of someones age?

Other than that nitpick it looks nice, though there's always the question of whether the actual gameplay will be as good as that, or the cut scenes/OP are really good.

Why does it play at the rate of approximately a frame every three to four seconds?

Okay, it plays fine for the first four or five seconds. Then it freezes on a view of the grass and sky for the next 30, and then plays jerkily to the end.

Just stop it and replay. It worked fine for me on the second time through.

I really like the way the "backslung secondary" model is developing; I wonder if it will make changing weaponry mid-game more realistic (slowing the process down).

Oh wow, that is a sweet trailer. The assault rifle looks about the right size to be a proper assault rifle now, not a dressed-up submachine gun.

Well, I'm just wondering how a video that long can be 310 kilobytes in size...

Edit: And it's getting slightly better. I'm actually seeing some frames in between 0:06 and 0:43 now. At least the last part displayed properly once...

Could Microsoft possibly upload a video with quality that is shittier than this one?

IGN and Gamespot have it, and theirs work.

Yep, no possible way those two people at the start were CGI.

I tried pausing it at the appropriate frame, but it was too blurry for me to make out: did the enemies John-117 jumped down to at the end look like Brutes to anyone else?

I mean, it would only make sense that he would be fighting half the Covenant, with the civil war full in swing. Who knows, perhaps we'll have Elites and Hunters as allies now.

Yeah, they all look like Brutes to me. Don't know what the hell else they could be, actually.

You can see on that Hi-res version, the whole things is definately CGI.

Heh when the MC jumps at the Brutes, they all appear to flinch away from the Spartan jumping down towards them...

Brutes...

If Brutes are the only high level enemy type around, it's going to get pretty boring playing as Master Chief/Arbiter. Jackals and Drones are typically speed bumps.

Of course, we'll probably see new Sentinel and Flood stuff.
