There are perks to being in the Army [X360]

Such as buying an X360 and Gears of War without tax at the local neighborhood friendly Post Exchange [PX]. 
My receipt reads $458.95, exactly $399.00 and $59.95. From here on, I'm more than content to buy games off-post or online [free one day shipping from Amazon for me 
] but it's nice spending $400 tax free.
I'm thinking now about a HD TV because Gears of War is what finally convinced me an X360 was worth buying, but definitely something like a 26" that'll only come out to about $600 and again, I'll shop where I won't have to incur taxes or shipping. Still, at least this system won't look like shit on a glorious 480 resolution like some say PS3 does. I know from playing on my brother's X360 that Dead or Alive and Ghost Recon look just fine whenever I decide to go full HD.
The only thing that sucks is this sort of underlined how much strength I lost in my right arm.
Hopefully my X-Rays show even more improvement next week.
edit: the 2nd worst thing is in finding space to put my TV up again [I've had my cable going through the cable card on the laptop and letting my PS2 collect dust]. Reminds me how I got the big shaft with this barracks room compared to even what I had in Korea with respect to furniture.
