My AC adapter is squeaking like a dying catb
I unplugged my laptop + AC adapter to move to another room. Upon replugging, the computer isn't receiving any power. I hear a faint beeping noise, so I put the adapter brick to my year and I can hear a beep-like buzz sound every second. I quickly unplugged it and here I am. I have an hour of battery left! Gah!

After ordering a new one I cut the bad one open with a dremel.
There didn't seem to be anything visibly wrong with it. I plugged it in to see if I could see any sparking. Oddly enough, the noise had stopped. I tested the output and it was working, so I'm using it for now after wrapping it with duct tape. o_O''
