Does anyone knows whether Absorb Health and Absorb Magicka work over time, or is it an instant effect?

Absorb Skills and Attributes is direct, so, an absorb intelligence 10 over 1 second and over 2 second will still net you 10 intelligence. But is it the same for Health and Magicka? If I cast an Absorb Health 5 for 5 second, do I continue to keep absorbing health, (i.e, 5 * 5=25 health absorbed?) Or is it just 5 health absorbed?

My restoration level is too low to test this effectively, so, can anyone help?

Absorb health does affect over time, hence 5 * 5 will be 25 health total.
