so i brought back this dirt cheap NTSC/J 360 premium (38,700yens that's like 250 euros) with a bunch of games:
Earth Defense Force 3 (Giant ants and mutated robot lizards attacking earth)
PGR3 (race)
Dead or Alive 4 (fighting game)
Project Sylpheed (Macross-esque space shooters)
NNN (Dynasty warriors-like)
(all that for under 150 Euros thanks MS for dumping your price in Japan and the strong euros)
the games are fun but i want for more now: What should i buy?

Don't buy the Asian version of Dead Rising. They removed decapitation and other grusome effects.

Dead Rising was an absolute blast for me. You might also want to grab Condemned: Criminal Origins.
I think everyone's got the basics covered, but games you'll want to look for this year are Forza 2, Mass Effect (I'm really looking forward to this one), BioShock, Two Worlds, and Halo 3.

I generally find there's fairly little difference in score between the average and any one site. (and gamespot reviews at least have review text, which is the important bit).

I'll buy blue dragon when they'll have it in stock somewhere >< (Blue Dragon is the only 360 game out of stock everywhere (with Idolm@ster))
Dead rising is definetely to buy, i've seen a Chrome Hounds at 20€, i'll try to check which eurorelease will work on my systems...

Only buy Chromehounds if you intend to play it online. The single player game is basically a tutorial, and not very interesting to boot. The online game is the real game. If you get a good group of players (it's all strictly clan based) then you can have a blast with it.
They've rebalanced it recently as well, I may have to have a nose around and see if the new balance is any cop.

I have played two (2) games on the Xbox 360: Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis, which was hella fun and had heaps of character, and Gears of War which completely rocked my socks and was a total blast in co-op. Playing both these games with a friend is just plain fine.

Much as i enjoy finally seeing the Football Manager series getting some recognition (26 on the list) i have to question what Football Manager is doing on a console?

Squeezing out a few extra sales units.
There's a PSP version of it as well, for those who really can't put it down.
